    Angry Mental & Monetary Harassment AND Termination of Services by Reliance Communications

    Sir / Madam,

    This is to file my request and complaints, in the knowledge of all the SENIOR AUTHORITIES (who have been copied on this e-mail), that need to be addressed for the Violation of the Telecom rules and UNSATISFACTORY SERVICES delivered by Reliance Communications.

    Here are a few details that may help you identify me as your customer:

    Kindly note the following issues:
    1. I had been receiving hard copies of the monthly bills at my residential address which has currently changed to e-bills. Can you please furnish a copy of any such request made by me in order to receive the monthly bills on e-mail AND NOT A HARD COPY?

    2. I had given a written request at the Reliance Webworld, Wright Town, Jabalpur to send the hard copies of my monthly statements at my residential address rather than sending it on my e-mail address (I have attached a scanned copy of the request). I wonder why the customer's requests have not been taken seriously. Can you please enlighten me that you, Reliance Communications, are not liable to send me atleast a monthly statement FOR A POSTPAID CONNECTION and that not doing so is against the Consumer's rights even after giving a written request? Are there any illegal charges that the company is trying to bill me?

    3. In the call recording, I could not understand the reason for executive demanding me to make the payment without taking the responsibility of sending the bill even on the due date. Could you please suggest, if this is legal?

    4. I have been receiving harassing calls since December 26, 2011 for the payment of the bill due on January 5, 2012 without providing the billing statement after repeated verbal requests and a written request. I have attached a call recording of the same.

    5. How could Reliance Communications dare to block my services for the last two (2) days when it is the mistake of the organization in executing my written request (since the time I received the message "Success! SUSPENDED SUCCESSFULLY" at 07/01/2012 07:13 AM)?

    6. I have been requesting your direct representatives to delete my e-mail address that was previously given to you (chourey_ashirwad@rediffmail.com) as that is currently not in use for a long time. This change hasn't been possible for the last 6 - 8 months. Any reasons?

    7. I had deposited Rs. 250 as SECURITY DEPOSIT at the time of the allotment of this number and Rs. 500 to activate the ISD Calling Facility on the number. The ISD Calling facility has not been activated on the number yet. Please provide me more details on the same.

    Kindly deduct the payment of Rs. 456.52 from my security deposit of Rs. 500 that was not correctly used to activate my ISD Calling AND port my reliance number 9300990888 from my current provider Reliance Communications to Idea. Kindly provide me the bill as on this date and assist me in the procedure of Mobile Number Portability.

    Since my incoming and outgoing have been blocked since January 07, 2012, I would like to inform you that any charges levied after the mentioned date would again be illegal!

    If there are issues created by Reliance Communications in the procedure of porting my Reliance Number to Idea, it will accountable for any type of harassment, monetary or mental.

    For the attention of all the Senior Authorities who have been copied on this email as a request for serious action against the violation of telecom laws and customers mental and monetary harassment that has become a very common issue in small cities like Jabalpur, expecting the ignorance of consumer rights by the consumers.

    I can now be contacted on my landline (H) number mentioned below that cannot be misused by Reliance Communcations as it is a BSNL number, since the incoming & outgoing services to my Reliance Postpaid Mobile number have currently been illegally terminated!

    Though this request has been put forward to the Reliance Customer Care after I mailed my complaint last time, I can assure you that they are not yet bothered about such concerns of their customer's concerns for the following reasons:

    1. I received an automated reply from customercare@relianceada.com stating that they would reply to the matter mentioned within 24 hrs, for which this date and time (that I am replying to your statement) is far ahead of the mentioned time-frame stated in their automated mail as I quote
    "Dear Customer,

    Thank you for writing to Reliance Customer Care.

    This is to acknowledge receipt of your email. We assure you a response within next 24 working hours.

    Request you to add customercare@relianceada.com to your email address book so that you do not miss important communication from us.

    We value your patronage and look forward to being of assistance.

    Reliance Communication Limited
    Note: This is an automated response please do not reply to this mail."

    This should clearly give you an idea that they are least bothered about it as I had to make the payment by visiting the Reliance Webworld, Near Shastri Bridge, Jabalpur in order to get my service activated and by not doing so, I was only creating hindrance for my new job applications and business contacts.

    This only brings me to pledge (after being a Reliance customer for about 8 years) that I would not be in a position to take any kind of services from Reliance Communications and would suggest against it to all connected to me, whether personal or professional!

    Anyway, still waiting for a response from Reliance Communications as a mere customer whom Reliance may consider helpless and ignorant about the consumer rights!

    It was not at all nice to get such excuses from a telecom company whose services are being used by me now, only for the last few days.

    However, this excuse seems meaningless as I received a call from your customer service dept. before receiving this message!

    I wouldn't require any excuses, even of any other kind (like the one I received from your Customer Care Dept.). They mentioned that the Reliance customer care, the Reliance WebWorld and the Sales Authorities are three (3) different entities and that my request given at the Reliance WebWorld or a written request given in the hands of the person who provided me the number on behalf of RELIANCE did not make a meaning! I should have called the customer care for a resolution!

    And that my BSNL LandLine number is unreachable is utter non-sense. I am finding it difficult to avoid any profanity over the phone or in writing. However, I've done it pretty well.
    I will not make any such efforts any more in this regard! (Hope you are enough learned to understand the meaning of this particular paragraph!

    Too much of non-sense and excuses! Can't bear any more of this!

    Thank you Reliance for all the fuss!

    Don't require you services any more!

    Important NOTE : (As mentioned over the call to your Customer Service Executive / Manager) In case of any issues created by Reliance Infocomm during the process of porting my number to Idea, I would be very harsh and rude in the compensation billing in the consumer court!
