I have a reliance prepaid connection. Of late whenever I recharge my phone , some or the other value added service gets activated on its own with out my cosent and they deduct the balance from my account automatically, and then they send a SMS saying if I dont want it I will have to unsubscribe the service and then I have to call customer care to get my balance back. For some reason if I fail to do so my money is gone. This when I brought to the notice of the RUDE/ ARROGANT call center executive he told it is my fault.
My complaint is these service providers activate any such service without having any record of when and from whom they got the consent for activating the so called value added services.It is totally illegal and unjustified that the consumer has to pay if he cannot unsubsribe to a service that has been activated without his consent.
