I am Manjunatha YC, I took reliance post paid connection in august 2008, Phone number 9310676757 (relationship No - 2352285944) and it was fine until I gave a letter and finalized (payed) the pending bill amount to cancel my number in November 2010 in chandigarh sector 9 reliance world outlet. Despite repeated emails and calls to customer care, They did not cancel my phone number but they sent me another bill in December 2010. I again gave a letter to cancel and block the number to the customer care. This time also I cleared (payed) the balance amount (Payement details given below). After this day I did not receive any bill till now and the number was terminated.
Today a morning one person called me saying he is the lawyer for reliance (name Mr Rana - Phone numbers - 09654980572 and 01164646609) and reliance people have given a legal notice to me and I have to pay Rs - 1594/- today itself or else I may have to go to the Patiala house and may have to pay 8000 to 9000 instead. I did not understand how the bill of 1594/- suddenly came when the number was not working and why I have not received any bill after December2010.
Then I called the reliance customer care and they said the number is inactive and they do not have information about the bill amount. Then I visited the reliance web world, they also said the number is inactive and the I have an unbilled amount of Rs - 1594/-. But they did not give the number termination date and they also did not give detailed bill for the amount they are telling to pay. How is this possible, they do not have details about the usage and billing period, and they do not have termination date but I have to pay the money. Is this the behavious by the so called No 01 service provider to common man/customer.
Then I called the guy (Mr Rana) who asked me to pay the money. He also did not agree to give me the detailed bill or termination date. Instead he asked to me to pay 1300/- instead of 1594/-. How can he reduce Rs 200/- immediately. I think this is the biggest froud by the reliance people
