    Default Vodafone billing discrepancy for the billing period 20th OCt - 19th Nov

    Hi,

    Service Provider: Vodafone
    My mobile number is : 9962066045
    There is a charge being levied on my coonection as follows:

    VF Mobile connect : Rs. 102.60 as on 20/10 ; 8:45 am
    The time is mentioned by the customer care but I have not used GPRS after 17th October as I have requested for deactivation by 20th Oct, which was done. I was told only Rs. 3 will be charged on the pro-rata basis as the deactivation was activated on the new billing cycle start date. I am surprised to see the usage as on the said time I was in office and I am using a phone which has no setting for browser. I am using the service for more than 5 yrs now in whichever place I travel.

    I asked to revert the cost by contacting the Vodafone Care as I confirm again that I have not used the same.

    Vodafone Live! : 0.10 - not clear again.

    The reply that I recieved from them is as follows:
    We tried to get in touch with you today; despite our best efforts; we were unable to reach you.

    We have verified your records and found that there were usages towards Vodafone Mobile Connect on your mobile number and the same has been charged Rs.102.60 /-in your 20/11/11 bill. Hence, we regret to inform you that we are unable to pass any waiver for the same.


    Further, the inbuilt discount as per your Vodafone Mobile Connect plan has been completely given for VMC usages. The GPRS discounts are given in the fourth page of the bill under heading- Discounts- other charges. Hence, your bill has been computed correctly.

    Also, we would like to inform you that Vodafone Mobile Connect has been deactivated for your mobile number with the effect from 20/11/11.
    Please be informed that Vodafone live default service which has no free benefits. Hence, customer has been charged as per tariff every 10kb Usage 10 Paisa + Download Charges.

    The above response is not satisfactory enough as I still confirm that the usage was not done from my end. Also please note "We tried to get in touch with you today; despite our best efforts; we were unable to reach you." It is surprising the service providers themselves cannot reach my number.

    Please take some actions on the same.
