This is in reference to my vodafone 3g connection # (7838592944) . I purchased this connection from preet vihar vodafone outlet. I also bought a vodafone mifi device for Rs 5500 with this connection. I wanted to buy a prepaid connection but since the sales representative mentioned that a prepaid connection will not work on vodafone mifi device so I was forced to buy a postpaid connection. I would like to know if that is true, that a prepaid connection cannot be used on mifi? I was also asked to activate a postpaid 3g plan whereas you were running the 3g trial during that time and as such I was not suppose to buy or activate the plan at that point as it was already being offered as free during your prelaunch period. So i ended up paying for three to four months unnecessarily when i could have easily used the plan for free but i had to pay the usage bill. Why was this not told to me by the executive and i was misinformed that it is manadatory to activate not just the card but also pick a monthly 3g plan to be able to use 3g services. I kept paying the bills month on month and my usage never ran over 1100 rupees at any point of time. One of the months my bill amount has come out to over Rs. 11000. I was shocked to see the bill. I complained about this to customer care but no solution was given by them. I can never use this account so much as i have airtel broadband at home and in my office so there is no point MY USAGE CAN BE SO MUCH. It is absolutely not done that you initially misinform the customer on all the plans that you offer at the point of purchase and than you levy unnecessary charges on my account. I was nice enough to not ask you to pay me back all the bills that I have paid during the trial period when I could have easily opted for the cheapest plan available but due to compulsion by your executive I had to buy a high rental 3g plan.
I request you to rectify my bill. Also after I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE BILL TO CUSTOMER CARE i HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS TO PAY THIS AMOUNT. your collection team has gone against the business ethics in reaching out to my landlord and telling him all about this issue. You people have landed me into a embarrasing situation in front of my landlord. What right do you have to call a third person to discuss my personal information. I was very much reachable on my cell no. 9540760111 so why was my landlord approched for this.??It is very shameful an effort on your part that you attempt such means to collect unreasonable amount from clients. I warn you to not adopt such measures and will not hesitate to take this forward to consumer court in case you fail to stop all this nonsense.
I will appreciate if this is rectified in a day or two latest by monday.
