    Angry Wrong call charges confirmation from vodafone and wrong bill amount charged

    Hi,

    I am Anuradha. I have a vodafone no and i made ISD calls from my mobile.

    Before making calls I confirmed from vodafone customer care regarding charges. They confirmed me thet Charges is 10 INR/mint but in my bill they charged 45 INR/mint. when i went to customer care they told me thet charges has been increased from 8th of april but i confirmed on 23rd of April in customer care.and they gave me wrong information and charged me 45 INR/mint.

    Still other mobile services provider ie Airtel charges for same call is 10INR/mint.

    Hi Anuradha,

    I agree whatever you have been through and the excess money charged is not morally right by any standards but there is hardly anything one can do because they normally tend to cover these things in the small print.

    On the other hand why do you use your mobile phone to make international calls? Have you tried skype? Its less then Rs2 per min for North America and a lot of European countries.
    Which country do you call? Have a look at skype website for prices for different countries. If you are making calls to a mobile then make sure before hand if there are extra charges for calling a mobile phone using skype in their price list... for example calling a landline in UK is dirt cheap but calling a mobile phone is more then double that price.

    Angry Wrong plan activated and irresposible reply by vodafone

    I migrated from prepaid to postpaid vodafone. I got my connection activated on 12th may and accidentally on 17 may i checked out from online vodafone portal that a wrong plan has been activated . I called up immediately and registered complain with them to correct my plan to the one I opted for . But inspite of repeated calling and repeated mails to them, i have not got my plan changed and they have charged me with the undesired plan. I have clearly stated they that i will not play if my plan is not changed. Ins[ite of these many requests they did not change my plan and still insist me to pay for the wrong plan. I have the recorded conversation and reference numbers with me . can i go to consumer court to get justice ?

    Will one guide me what to do ?
