Dear Sir,
I was given a landline (04040151640) by Airtel along with the the internet connection and i was told i will be billed for the landline depending on the usage.
I made a complaint on the incorrect billing an year back through Core Center Team(8370/4/2010). I got a reply from the Customer service that they are working on the issues. But there is no solution yet.
Mean time i would like to update on the connected issues i faced. When i complained about the incorrect billing to the help desk i was told that the problem has been identified and will be fixed soon. As informed by the customer care team, i need not pay the bill till the issues is fixed and iam informed. Its an year back and no update what so ever from airtel. I got many threatening calls from airtel collections team about the disconnection of the service and legal action for the late payment. What am i supposed to pay when iam not told what for iam paying since 4 months? Dont i have the right to know what numbers that were dialed from the phone and how much was the total charge? Do i need to pay 50 rupees per monthly bill to airtel? I still made the payment going to the branch office to avoid the disconnection!!!
Airtel agreed thousand times that its their billing mistake. But they never fixed it. Iam fighting for it from last 1 yr with every bill. Is this the way customers supposed to
suffer? Gandhiji said customer is GOD. But we are treated worst than animals. We are treated like illiterates. Where are we living? Who is going to punish such companies and help the customers?
This could be the biggest scam in the world if properly investigated by CBI. If Airtel charging 100 rupees extra through incorrect billing they can make 1000 crores in a month from just 10 crore customers. Just imagine how much they can make with their total customer base in india? Iam not saying this is true. Iam saying this could be
a possibility.
I got the bill for december as well. Iam charged 50 rupees extra for the late payment!!?? How on earth iam late in paying when airtel does not fix the problem and tell me what i need to pay? This is rediculous/atrocious. How can a company rob
the customers like this?
We see several complaints every day with credit card companies, banks, telecom, consumer goods companies. 95% of the affected customers just dont complain knowing the situation in india. They suffer silently. I want to fight to any extent. Iam ready to go to any extent. I want justice. I want to pave a way to the fellow citizens that there is a way to fight.
I request serious investigation into this incorrect billing scam and take severe action against such companies. Airtel must be punished severely for putting me through all this. Airtel must be charged huge amounts towards fine for
collecting money from me generating wrong bill and i must be compensated.
I request the core team to pay special attention to this case as you are the last hope for justice to the affected customers like me. Thanks in advance.
