I want to make a complaint for deactivation of our Broadband line in spite of paying the bill. We had taken 10 land line connections mainly for intercom purpose (we also took an Airtel broadband connection). However Airtel did not activate Intercom till April 14 in spite of several requests and phone conversations. STD has not been activated yet. Getting fed up of all this, I cancelled all our landline numbers on 25.04.2011.
Now Airtel has deactivated our broadband services in spite of us clearing their broadband bill. Coming to our landline connections, is it logical for Airtel to expect us to pay for services (Intercom & STD) that were not offered. Another problem that I would like to mention is why Airtel has been billing us from 16.02.2011 onwards? We did not get our land lines activated till 01.03.2011. We even got a voice welcome conformation email on 01.03.2011.
Now from 10.04.2011 onwards, Airtel deactivated all our landlines due to non-payment. We on the other hand wanted our problems sorted out before we wanted to pay. However they went ahead and deactivated our landlines in spite of our requests. So on 20.04.2011, I called to ask why our land lines were deactivated and why our intercom and STD were nonfunctional, Airtel gives us a reply that intercom has been activated on 14.04.2011, but due to non-payment, we will not know whether it works or not. We have also requested Airtel to send a representative to our office to settle this matter, but they have been non cooperative regarding our complaint.
All of our complaints have gone no where, and I would like Airtel to settle this matter asap.
