My BSSL landline is not usable. The instrument rings and even the caller no is displayed but when phone is picked up for response there is only noise emanating from the speaker and the person on line is not audible eitherway. The broadband is working perfectly. I have been making a complain almost every day to local BSNL complaints section (02717 231200) since November last week. I have even tried to call all responsible officials whose contact nos are given in the bill. I could talk to some and extracted some promises of early response. Till date no person has come to repair the line. I have been told that there is cable fault and will take some time to repair. How is broadband working if there is cable fault? I have a feeling that these people are just assuming something and do not want to do their work. As the phone is not useable since last one month what claims can I make from BSNL. I have checked with there complaints register all complains I made are registered during the last one month till date.

I feel cheated as no one has cared to visit and inspect the local last 10 m cable or the junction box. I have been spending time and money to contact the BSNL office every day. Pl suggest to whom to approach. what can consumer forum do about it.
