My boss's BSNL land line under Number 01951257019 has been disconnected by the company in July 2009. Reportedly on account of non payment of bills. The fact is that the complainant had approached the concerned department for changing Broad Band plan from R. 250/- per month to Rs. 750/- per month (unlimited plan). In view of the excessive billing. No action was taken by the department for redressal of the complaint. The department continued to charge rent on land line and also broad band services. The complianant approached the department frequently and finally settlement of dues was granted. The consumer was asked to pay Rs. 6386/- in 4 instalments. The instalments due for payment amounting to Rs. 3953/- were paid in the month of May-2010. Since then I have been approaching the department for restoration of telephone and broad band service. The department seems to have turned deaf, there seems no accountibility as there is no response. This is the treatment of a Government company towards the customers. The latest complaint has been lodged on 02/06/2010.
It is requested that the concerned department may be directed to redress this complaint without further loss of time, as also waive off charges for the period for which services have not been provided to the consumer.
