TELEPHONE & INTERNET DEAD
This is to inform you my Landline 020-25280921 and the Broadband Internet associated with it is dead since 01-August-2010.

COMPLAINT NUMBER(S)
On the same date, I logged a complaint using 198 fault reporting service and the complaint number given: 002374.

I am in constant touch with the Bhusari Colony Telephone exchange and was given the nformation that the problem was due to a cable fault and the repairs are delayed due to
no permission from the municipality.

PROBLEM STILL NOT RESOLVED
From 29-August-2010, all the landlines in my building started working except mine.

From the above date, my landline has a dial tone, but the outgoing and incoming is not working.

(1) OUTGOING: When I dial any phone number, I get the recorded message, "This facility is not available on your telephone".

Please note that
(A) This message started playing even before the last date of bill payment.
(B) Your records show that I have paid my bill well before the last date, on 13-August-2010.

(2) INCOMING: When anybody calls my landline number, they hear a normal tone, but there is no ring (ringing sound). If I pick up the phone, I hear the normal dial tone as if nothing has happened.

After a personal visit to the Bhusari Colony, they logged a separate complaint I was assured that my telephone would start working on Tuesday 31-Aug/Wednesday 01-Sept.
But I am having the same problem as described above. As mentioned above, all BSNL landlines in my building are working - except mine.

REQUEST / DEMAND
(1) I should get zero bill for August 2010 since my telephone was dead for the entire month.

(2) My September 2010 bill be discounted by that many days that my telephone remains not operable.

Also, please note that if my telephone does not get started within 48 hours, I will return the BSNL landline instrument to the Bhusari Colony Telephone Exchange and discontinue being a customer of BSNL. I will opt for some other operator.
