Hi,

This is to inform you that there was a WLL number 040-20030278 in my father Mr Sujit Kumar Bandopadhyay's name.As for the month of December 2011, I was sent a bill of Rs 4153/-rom BSNL which eventually had a due date of 06/01/2012. As on 26/12/2011 , I did pay off the amount Rs 4153/- at BSNL Golkonda Exchange,Hyderabad.At the same time , I did enquire about the procedure to cancel the account, as my father has moved to his native in Kolkata...wherein I was told to contact the SUB-DIVISIONAL ENGINEER ,Golkonda, Hyderabad with the handset for disconnection of the wll service.

Based on the information, I did approach the SUB-DIVISIONAL ENGINEER ,Golconda, Hyderabad as on 31/12/2011, wherein I did submit the handset and I was provided an acknowledgement for the same(Receipt Number-1434575012).On the same day, I did submit the receipt the the BSNL , Golkonda, Hyderabad office wherein I was promised that within next 7 working days(ideally by 6/1/2012) the WLL connection would be discontinued and the remainder amount for the 7 days period would be refunded to my father's home address which is in KOLKATA(123/1/4 ROY BAHADUR ROAD , BEHALA.KOLKATA-700034)via a cheque.

However , as on 1/29/2012...I did receive another bill for the same WLL connection asking me to pay Rs 378 with the due date of 30/01/2012....When contacted the BSNL Help Desk...I was told that because the connection has not yet being disconnected, I was asked to cough up this amount.

My question to you is:

WHY WAS I BEING LIED BY THE BSNL OFFICIALS IN SPITE OF ISSUING ME AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT CONFIRMING THAT THE WLL WOULD BE DISCONNECTED WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS OF TIME WHEN THE DISCONNECTION REQUEST/HANDSET WAS SUBMITTED??

Please do suggest me an appropriate solution, as it looks to me that BSNL at present is managed by a GROUP OF CHEATS who did rob my money and gave me false promises assuring me incorrect information/resolution.
