CAF no 2333270283 in Dec 2007 with unlimited plan 999 from
Dwarikanagar reliance web world branch in visakhapatnam.Under this
plan calls made to Reliance to relaince mob/landline(including
reliance GSM mob also) all over Indai is free.Till July 2009 i enjoyed
this plan hassle free for almost 18 months. After july 2009 RCOM at its own
without informing any cUstomer ammended the UNLIMITED PLAN 999 and
started charging rs 1/min on all Reliance RTLGSM calls (98 series SMART
mob no in BIHAR/JHARKHAND).How can a customer digest who was enjoying
unlimited free calling and now they have to pay rs 1/min. Upon
contacting Customer care,Nodal officer/RCOM appealate authority,AP
subsequently I was replied that decision to charge reliance GSM no.
has been taken by the corporate hence they all are unable to do
anything.Further Nodal officer/RCOM appealate authority in their email
replied that Ƒ)RCOM has right to ammend any plan/policy and the
customer is bound to follow.ƒ) his second point in RCOM''s defence was
that reliance GSM no calls were not free under the Unlimited plan 999
but it was as a goodwill gesture offered to the customer till
July 2009.My question is that Ƒ) why I was not told about RCOM
goodwill gesture while taking connectionƒ)Why RCOM did not think about
the customer''s pocket who has to pay almost double the monthly bills
due to imposing such ammendent in the UNLIMITED PLAN.Ɠ)Has the DOT
transparancy codes been followed by RCOM while doing so.H) Who authorises RCOM to mislead the customers by giving goodwill gesture for 18 months and thereafter stop it automatically? I''ve wrote

officer.pehredar,consumerdaddy,jagooregrahak,and DEPT OF TELECOM vide
COMPLAINT NO DOTEL/E/2009/04116 Dated 26 Oct 09.Till now no fruitful
result has emerged from any side.I''ve to shell out additional amount
of approx rs 500/-p.m towards RCOM monthly bills compare to befroe
July 2009 I used to pay.Request the appropriate authority to take
urgent action towards RCOM and revert me with the initial plan.
