If you're looking for a telecomms provider who provides a service that works and fixs it quickly when it doesn't then DON'T join Talk Talk!! My parents made the seemingly big mistake of choosing Talk Talk as their 'service provider' - (they cannot really be classed as a provider as they do the opposite of the very definition of provide) and have been without a phone for a week and been told no-one can come to look at it for two weeks after the original time of loss of service.

Not only is this completely unacceptable in a day and age where companies understand the importance of fast turn around times, but to even get to that arranged has it been an uphill struggle and that's an understatement.

If I wrote down all the details of the varying problems I have had with the company attempting to resolve (the still unresolved) problem I would be here just as long as I have been on the Talk Talk hold line - and let me tell you that's hours this week alone!

I have experienced hold music for multiple periods of up to 20 minutes, then being passed from one useless person to another, had to re-tell the situation multiple times to multiple people none of whom actually helped and the worst thing of all they kept saying 'we will help you' - don't just say it DO IT!

As my next course of action I have decided to spend my efforts convincing my parents to switch to another provider (won't be hard now) instead of making my daily complaint call to this awful company and knocking my head against a brick wall...
