Angry Tata Indicom Post paid WLL Complaint

I have a TATA Indicom WLL phone at home from 2004 and have faced many issues regarding the handset - voice clarity and battery life. Every time someone fixes it - it comes back. They change the receiver and the battery with the USED PARTS.
This time when I logged a complaint on 24th Nov 2010 (There are many but one complaint # is 244297421) - the call centre attendant promised me that my instrument will be replaced with a new one. I was happy to see that finally I will get rid of this 6 year old instrument. But to my surprise the technician - Neeraj from Tata Indicom - refused to change the instrument with a new one. I called the 121 line again and registered another complaint on 26th Nov and even spoke to the supervisor. This time no one responded. After waiting for sometime I wrote to the Nodal officer and also called the number 65102309 on 2nd Dec 2010. The lady who attended my call was very nice in talking and promised me that in 24 hrs my phone will be changed with a NEW instrument and not refurbished. I waited for 3 days and when did not hear anything - called that same number on 7th Dec. Another lady Ms. Alicia picked up this time. She ttold me that they can not change the instrument with a new one and she apologised for the wrong information given to me by call centre person and the earlier lady in this office.

I am really fed up with the services of Tata Indicom and their attitude towards resolving my complaints. My instrument is 6 years old and is very bad - but still they do not want to replace it with a new one. pathetic.

I will put this at many places so that people see and learn about Tata indicom before taking their service. I am too a Tata Group employee and do not expect this type of behavior from any Tata company.
