Dear Sir

I am Whirlpool washing machine. Last year I replaced its inlet Valve on 28.8.10 with Cash Memo No.5437.& Sr No.TWA040701324 at a cost of Rs.855. A day before yeasterday my machine was not working . Hence I called Technician from same Company. He said the Valve is a failed. I showed the receipt . He said the part warranty is only 3 months. I asked what is the cost of new one. He said Rs.1250. Then I checked with his company on next day . They said it is 6 months. Finally the company said it can be repalced with Rs.450. I aggred to it because I have no option dailly we have to wash our clothes.

I want to ask you normally the warranty is for one year from the date of purchase or installation. In this case why the warranty is 3 month or 6 month.
