Airtel DTH service and hir customer care officer are very bad. They debit time to time charges from my account without any information. and the customer care is not register any complain of the customer for any assistance.

On 4th of august i have ordered for a new hd connection with ultra pack scheme and for upgradation of my existing normal dth connection to hd connection . For both the orders i have paid rs 7,880/- thru my credit card. The same amount is transferred to airtel.
Now till date the airtel is failed to upgrade my existing dth connection to new hd connection. For this i have many times contact airtel customer service, but nobody is responding. I think mr. Sunil bharti mittal has appointed ajunk of idiots in his customer service deptt. Now i dont know what should i do. My credit card statement clearly shows that rs. 7,880/- has been credited to airtel digital a/c.. Pl suggest. |

On 16th May, 2010 I had subscribed for the offer ( pay for 10 months and get 2 more months free) for whiich I paid Rs. 3033/-. I had also confirmed re-charge of the scheme over phone as well as sent a e-mail communication on 16.5.2010 to digitaltv@airtel.in to confirm receipt of payment done online thru internet banking for the said package and had received a reply from vide ref no. 24753116591 dtd 17.5.2010 confirming activation of my recharged package and also adding one free top up regional channel. I have now completed 10 months of subscription for the re-charged mega package and eligible for 2 more months of free viewing as per the offer, however I have been receiving atleast 3 to 4 sms that my subscription is getting over on March 12, 2011 and my services will be discontinued if I do not recharge immediately. Upon contacting customer care on toll free they inform me that my re-charge has not been entered into the AIRTEL system hence I am not eligible for 2 free months of viewing. Here, I have written confirmation of activation of the package and because of some employees mistake of not entering the data in the system I am being penalized. This is highly unacceptable. Yesterday (10th march) one customer care ( NISHANT KUMAR SINHA) has assured me that my complaint has been lodged and complaint no. will be sent to me by sms. THIS SMS NEVER CAME. Are you guys playing around with me. Is this how you treat customers who have reposed their faith in you. I think I have made the biggest mistake of my life by subscribing for AIRTEL DTH. I am receiving mails even today that my services will be discontinued from tomorrow if I do not re-charge. IN NO WAY WILL I TOLERATE IF MY SERVICES ARE DISCONTINUED AS I HAVE WRITTEN CONFIRMATION FROM AIRTEL CONFIRMING MY TELEPHONE CONVERSATION AS WELL AS CONFIRMATION OF ACTIVATION OF PACKAGE. I SHOULD NOT BE DEPRIVED OF 2 MONTHS OF FREE VIEWING AS PER THE PACKAGE OR ELSE I WILL BE FORCED TO TAKE STRINGENT ACTION OF BREACH OF TRUST BY AIRTEL.
