On 23rd April, my airtel TV started showing "No Signal". After repeated steps to cure the same, it could not be rectfied at my end. Immediately a complaint was launched to the customer service deprtmant who said that the engineer would be visitting my place by 1.30pm the next day and the complaint would be resolved (Complain No: 2820136). No one turned up. I again called up the helpline which gave me the next time slot of 3.30 pm. I had to leave at 4 pm. Just because of this I waited till 5pm and as expected no one turned up. No one again turned up and the engineer's number was found to be a "does not exist" phone number. I again called up the helpline who assured that the complain has been registered and the engineer would be visitting at 1 pm. Again no one turned up. who said that the corresponding mail has been sent and the engineer would be visitting me . No one turned up. I again called up the customer service department who expressed service for such clumsiness and gave me the number of the local service dealer who couldnt help. I spoke to him, only to find that the complaint has not been registered with him. I again called up the customer service who said an official complaint needs to be launched and that it would take 1 more day.
Airtel sucks I have paid for over 12 months of services in advance for nothing.
I am not sure as to what is happening...My humble message to all...please stick to your local operators...they would give you much better service at half the cost...
And if anyone is benevolent enough to provide me some numbers of their senior management I shall remain grateful.
Please raise your voice against such clumsy service of Airtel DTH and let's all ensure that no one else faces such misery that I have been experiencing for the last couple of days.
