    Angry Airtel Digital TV service SUCKS......

    On 23rd April, my airtel TV started showing "No Signal". After repeated steps to cure the same, it could not be rectfied at my end. Immediately a complaint was launched to the customer service deprtmant who said that the engineer would be visitting my place by 1.30pm the next day and the complaint would be resolved (Complain No: 2820136). No one turned up. I again called up the helpline which gave me the next time slot of 3.30 pm. I had to leave at 4 pm. Just because of this I waited till 5pm and as expected no one turned up. No one again turned up and the engineer's number was found to be a "does not exist" phone number. I again called up the helpline who assured that the complain has been registered and the engineer would be visitting at 1 pm. Again no one turned up. I now called up their nodal officer SHIV SHANKAR BOSE 03344131303

    who said that the corresponding mail has been sent and the engineer would be visitting me . No one turned up. I again called up the customer service department who expressed service for such clumsiness and gave me the number of the local service dealer who couldnt help. I spoke to him, only to find that the complaint has not been registered with him. I again called up the customer service who said an official complaint needs to be launched and that it would take 1 more day.

    Airtel sucks I have paid for over 12 months of services in advance for nothing.

    I am not sure as to what is happening...My humble message to all...please stick to your local operators...they would give you much better service at half the cost...

    And if anyone is benevolent enough to provide me some numbers of their senior management I shall remain grateful.

    Please raise your voice against such clumsy service of Airtel DTH and let's all ensure that no one else faces such misery that I have been experiencing for the last couple of days.

    Default Complaint against airtel digital tv customer care, for not resolving service requests

    Hello Consumer Forum Members

    This is regarding a transaction of Rs 300 which I made towards my Airtel Digital TV Connection (Airtel Customer Id: 3000195436) on 25th May 2010 through mobile(9886397453).

    However, this amount has not been credited to the airtel account even though this amount has been debited from my credit card.
    I have followed up with airtel and have raised several complaints (Airtel Service Requests No : 2872233 & 2934632) but to no effect.
    The first request (2872233) was closed without resolution and the 2nd request (2934632) has not been actioned yet.

    I have sent them the credit card statement on their request but no result.

    If I ask them about the status of that transaction, either my call will get disconnected or they will keep it on hold for a long time (more than 15 mins) so that I won’t have any option other than disconnecting it.
    I feel I have been cheated by Airtel.

    Please help me in getting this resolved

    My suggestion is "Say No to Airtel Digital TV" for those who are planning to go for the same

    Airtel Digital Service Sucks Big Time!

    I am extremely disappointed and tortured with the customer support provided by Airtel Digital TV during the relocation of the connection to my new address. It has not happened for almost 2 weeks now.

    I think I did biggest mistake by going with Airtel Digital TV and I recommend each and everyone who reads this forum not to Airtel Digital TV. The most pathetic service anyone can imagine.

    Extremely Extremely irritable..

    The customer care people can hardly communicate with their IQ close to ZERO.

    Their processes for relocation and in general are full of loop-holes giving ample opportunities for the field engineers and back-end teams to play around and manipulate with the system ensuring the issues doesn't get escalated and highlighted to the top management. It causes extreme inconvenience to customers.

    I send multiple emails to ids provided on the website but to no avail.

    Went to the extent of finding the Head for Service Delivery on LinkedIn and sending him a message requesting help... but no response.

    In case, if anyone at Airtel Digital TV is hearing the voice of customers, the request #s I have lodged are 6522033 and 6358320 to be looked into.

    I am planning to wait till weekend and if the reinstallation doesn't happen shall throw the antennas and set-top box out of my window and will assume all the money has gone to charity!

    I am Airtel DTH customer with Customer ID : 3004550382.
    Two months back, we had problem with DTH and we lodged a compalint.

    Following problem happened -
    1st time Technician came and could not resolve.
    2nd time Technician came and could not resolve but he took along the remote control.
    3rd time Technician came and could not resolve but he replaced the adaptor.
    4th time Technician came and just saw the setup box and went back.

    Its been long time we had been following up but nothing has happened till now.

    Request you to please help.

    Thumbs down Airtel Digital Tv and the its employees: A Big Shame

    Hello

    My Customer Id is 16130815

    My Landline No is 01244140065

    Resident Of Flat no 503 Tower 6 Fresco,
    Nirvana Country
    Gurgaon

    I want to Inform that my IPTV is not working since last 10 days and No effort has
    been taken to rectify the Problem

    I think there is no way to speak to the employess of Airtel you can only
    speak to the customer care.

    1st Er Abhishek Visited on 11th August 2011 and he said that the IPTV
    modem is not working and he will come back to change it but there was
    no response and he never picked up the call.

    2nd Er. Ram Shekher also visited on 17th August 2011 and said the same thing
    and later on I got to know that he informed that the problem has been resolved.

    I have been calling to the customer care on everyday basis but no
    solution has been given to me so I request you to please take some
    strict action against the people who have been making false promises
    and solve my problem asap.

    Please Help
