    I had received a message from airtel on my satellite TV saying recharge for 3months and get the 4month free. I called up customer service and confirmed that whether I can get this offer or not. They said absolutely you will be getting the same. They said you can recharge for rs.1037, I recharged online via my credit card and Guess What the transaction at gateway approved but donot reflected in my account. I called up again, I explained from beginning from the message to recharge failure. Rep said that previous rep had given you incorrect information on the recharge amount, you have to recharge for rs.1092 and I have to wait for 24hrs for the transaction, it will be automatically reflected in my account. Again they said I am eligible for 3months + 1month offer. I called up again after 24hrs and they said that I have to send them an email with the online statement after that they will transfer the money. I forwarded the information and called up again after 24 hrs again they said they have forwarded to their accounts dept. it will take 4hrs.

    When I called up next day they said that you are not eligible for 3month+1month offer!!
    They start disconnecting my calls while I was talking to them saying “thanks for calling Airtel DTH support”. I reported them to their senior and they said that they will take action against them.

    They said that they apologize for providing incorrect information and they could not honor the same. We will not honor any offer and you can do what you want but they will not honor!!!

    Default airtel dth review by a customer

    This airtel DTH service is the worst service I ever experienced. I took this connection two weeks back only. At the time of installation it took 3 days for them to install the device after paying money and making so many calls to customer care and atlast one call to one manager level person who made the process faster. Now, on 24th Jul, I made a request to the customer care to move the dish to my new location as we were shifting our house. They ageed to send their executive for detinstallating the device and reinstalling on the new location and said will charge Rs 300 for that. I agreed that; but none came on that day and on the next day I called to customer care 3-4 times and every time different persons are taking the call and telling they will check and call you back. But, nothing happened. On the third day I went to my old place and with the help of another person, I deinstalled the dish and took to my new place. Till now no one responded, or called regarding this; and I decided not to go with this kind of service. I want to unsubscribe this connection and want my money back. I dont want any more head ache with this kind of service.

    If you want to resolve the issue you can resolve it here only. I will prefer you to resolve the issue here only because when I ask your reps including senior reps Ashish Pandey and Sunil Chauhan and may others they told that they will not honor what they had promise.

    My Customer Id is 3001748840 you can check all of my calls/case log. I will explain you here what did exactly suffer while dealin with your company:

    1. I received a message that if I recharge before 30th June, 2010 for 3 months then I will get 4th month subscription free.

    2. I called customer care to confirm that whether I was eligible for this offer or not. Your rep said I am ELIGIBLE and I can get a recharge of RS 1037.

    3. When I recharge online, the transaction from the gateway was successful but it was not reflected on to your website. Dated 19th June 2010.

    4. I called up customer care again, I had a discussion regarding failure of online transaction. Again I confirmed that if I was eligible or not. They said you are ABSOLUTELY ELIGIBLE but the information provided to you by our rep was incorrect and you had to recharge for RS 1092. I said fine you can deduct it from my balance. My balance was RS71 something. They said that they will manage and the payment will be in your account within 24hours.

    5. After 24 hours I called up and they said that I have to send them the transaction Id at digitaltv@airtel.in. I sent an email with the transaction Id and stating what I was going thru!

    6. I got no response regarding my email. Again I called up and they said that they haven't received any email. I help them tracking my email then again "SIR IT WILL TAKE LESS THAN 24HRS FOR MONEY TO REFLECT IN YOUR ACCOUNT".

    7. Still no response then I had a talk with a lady called MS. Jadav. She said she will forward the information to sr. management. And while I was talking with her and she disconnected the call saying "THANKS FOR CALLING AIRTEL DTH". I was angry at that time and I called up again for her senior and I complaint that she did or attended the customer like this. The Senior was "SUNIL CHAUHAN". I had a detailed discussion with him and he said that the information provided by others are "ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT". You are not eligible for the plan and we will not be able to offer you the same.

    8. Many other reps disconnected my calls and I was very disappointed with you guys that you are such a big company and doesnot care about your customers.

    9. I had to follow up with you guys for more than a week then the payment was reflected. I said them that I will launch a complaint online and they said "YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU WANT".

    IF YOU HAD LISTENED ME IN THE FIRST PLACE THERE WAS NO WAY THAT I HAD POST THIS COMPLAINT.

    YOU CAN RESOLVE THE ISSUE HERE ONLY OR LET IT BE LIKE THIS. THIS WILL SHOW YOUR EAGERNESS OF HELPING YOUR CUSTOMERs.

    I'd second that....I have also filed a complaint on complaintsboard.com where they are writing that your complaint has been resolved but no corrective action has been taken. My account doesn't reflect any changes being made.

    Default Airtel DTH change plan by themselves and not changing it back

    Hi,

    Sorry to say Airtel DTH karnataka is giving worst service I ever get by any service provider in any area. I recently shifted from Hyderabad to Bangalore, have annual subscription for Airtel DTH (My biggest mistake), initially struggled for getting installed at my new place but that doesn't happen till date.
    On the top of that they added salt on my wounds by changing it now my balance is showing negative. Since one month I am struggling to change it back to original till date I have no luck.
    Customer Service of Airtel is pathetic, customer care executive doesn't have any vaild information and every customer care executive have different version of solution.
    I need email-id or telephone number of top notch management of Airtel DTH to contact them and inform them how their executive giving mental touture and harressment to the customer.
    Please help me in filling case against Airtel DTH in consumer court.

    If any airtel representative reading this, please do something otheriwse I will drag this to news and consumer court.

    Default Pathetic Service ever experienced.

    Hi I am Asit Kumar Singh and I have been with Airtel DTH since last 4 months and my experience with them has been nightmare ever since. I have 2 connections now My customer ID is 3003668891 (other one I dont remember the second Customer ID). The second connection was also supposed to be a additional (Multiple connection) however they have incorrectly registered it as a separate connection without providing me a dish.

    Just apart from the equipment and picture quality everything is worse beyond your wildest imagination.

    Specially the call center which I feel is the worst of its kind I have ever experienced in my whole life. They have agents who are impolite have no knowledge what soever and would always disconnect call when ever they fail to give you any solution. Not to forget the communication barrier they have. Also not too behind they poor performance are their immediate supervisors who are even far more worse than them.

    I have spoken to a number of their supervisors starting from Deena, Maria, Bala, Pravin and so many other names I cannot even recollect. Apart from Pravin I think every one has dissapointed me in giving false and wrong information. Worst of all was Bala with whom I had spoken yesterday was very rude and very impolite had no decency at all.

    I have been calling the call center time and again for 2 reasons, first was a refund issues which they had promised me like 15 days ago and nothing has been done ever since. I was incorrectly informed by the call center that I would need to recharge my account as mentioned above with 3500/- as I wanted to avail 2 additional connection to my exixtiing customer ID. Hence I recharged my account accordingly. This information passed was wrong and was later apologized by the call center after discussing teh matter with the supervisors and they promised to refund that amount within 72 hours. Every time I call them after 3 days they say they would refund the amount within 24 hours and nothing happens. I would even recieve call backs staing that the refund would happen in 24 hours, but 15 days have passed and I am in no mans land as to when I should be expecting the refund.

    All I can say from my experience is please refrain from availing this Airtel service. I am going to call the callcenter and unsubscribe my current connections.

    Default AIRTEL DTH Deposit not being refunded

    I applied for Airtel DTH on 11.03.10 through REAL VALUE MARKETING, No.1, Sait Colony, First STreet, Second Floor, Egmore, CHENNAI - 600 008 (their receipt no: 2053 dated 11.03.2010) with a promose that the installation will be done that day itself. But nobody turned out and after two three calls i was told it could not be installed the same day. Next day also the same thing happened and nobody turned up till afternoon. When I threatened that I will cancel my order only they started responding properly. By night they came to install and by that time I had decided to cancel the order.

    I called up Airtel customer care and told them I want to cancel the order and asked them to refund my money. I have called them so many times and they have not returned the money.

    My Airtel DTH ID is 3003400570.

    Default AIRTEL DTH Deposit not being refunded

    I has complained about non refund of deposit. The company had given me an interim reply on the 6th of Oct,2010. However, there is no further action from the company. It is a straight forward case.... I had given them the money. They have not provided the service or equipment in time as they promissed. THis is clear lack of service case. How long should the company take to refund me the money?

    Red face setup box connector

    the connector has got dislodged from the setup box and to be put back by opening the box and replacing it inside which the service agent refuses and wants to take away my newbox for a serviced old one and insists on that.
    Its sobad as my box is a new one.
    The Airtel people are not getting it sorted out and i am unable to even seethe news.
    ITs 5 days and i hopeatleast now they willl solve my problem

    Default No response for the DTH connection

    I have booked the DTH connection on the phone, paid it thru my credit card, while booking the person said i would get the connection within 24 hrs, its been 48 hours i have not got any response from airtel no calls or message. when i call the customer care and ask my status they say wait till you get call from back end team and cut my call.

    This is another company that started out with a lot of promise. Around 4 yrs back I searched for a Telephone and Internet Service Provider. Being a small company, I didn't want an expensive lease line.
    After looking at all the options I settled on Airtel. The sales team was efficient, the technical team came within a day of signing the contract and everything worked seamlessly. For 2 yrs there was only a couple of instances when I had at outage. The service team was quick to respond which minimized the downtime to less that 2 hrs.
    However after that it has been all downhill for this brand. In their rush to expand they have got their basics all mixed up and overall quality , integrity and service has been pathetic if not worse.
    This is a company which recently spent a lot of dollars trying to re-invent its brand image.

    I am planning for a dth service for my residnace tv, hence left my cell no in airtel to call back.

    I got a call from airtel (phone no 01204087631) on 21-june around 2.00 pm. The guy introduced as "kanak gupta". As i was busy in my office work, so he asked my email id. I gave him my email id. Then he send me an email with annual subscription proposal.
    Immediately he called up. I told this is office hours. I can not check my personal email now.

    He told his office hours & my office hours is same. So i need to talk to him in office hours only. I told ok. I will check it on saturday or sunday & then can speak next week.
    He was furious & made very derogative remark. Before i teach him a lesson , he cut the phone.

    I request airtel team to retrieve the call recording & check....

    I want airtel to take an action as soon as possible

    i am an airtel blackberry customer. So if this type of behavour is encouraged in airtel, then i must shift from airtel.

    I had been customer of Airtel DTH for a while, and a very aggrieved customer. My story reflects the current state of service being provided by Airtel DTH to their customers. Based on the harassment meted to me by the Airtel DTH, I request you please audit Airtel DTH track record, and if possible cancel their License.
    Hereby please find my story below.
    This is for my Airtel account 3007128702, I paid for this connection in February for a Airtel connection along with the recorder ( amount Rs. 3600), After I paid the money, I called them multiple times fo the installation, the customer service kept telling me engineer would come evening ,he would come morning, but I never saw a face. Moreover they used to raise an issue, and close it even without checking if the installation is done or not. I called airtle DTH customer service more than 50 times during these days, but of no avail. A month back, they told me that they no longer install normal recorder, and then I asked my money to be refunded, for this also I have called more than 15 times, but my money has not been refunded. I don't understand what kind of service it. I have wasted money, time and gone through mental agony for such a small thing.
    This is for my account:3001382295, I have this account for a couple of years now. some 8 days back there was a problem with setup box. I raised a complain. The engineer came and replaced my setup box, but till date my connection isn't working, it had be 8 days, and I am getting no channels. I have made 25 calls to airtel customer care service. Everytime they give me an estimation of 1 hour, but nothing really happens. Till date this isn't working.

    Based on my experience with Airtel DTH, I request you to please impose a high penalty on Airtel for worst service., and also audit their track record, and based on that cancel theiel license. I have talked to theri managers, but of no avail. I have called them so many times that I now know quite a number of people in their call center. But any attempt to meet them is useless, they have no office, no one we can really meet. Its such a horrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend Airtel to anyone. I am a cricket lover, and my idea to purchase Airtel Recorder connection was to record the Cricket World cup, and many tournaments after that are already over, but the connection is still not installed, and my money not refunded.

    Dear Sir

    I had applied an Airtel DTH connection on Airtel website dated 11.10.2011 therefore a call received from Airtel Customer care office for new connection on dated 12.10.2011 and next day a airtel executive come in my office for collection of advance payment for new connection. I have paid of Rs. 1340/- vide there receipt no. 24997 dated 13.10.2011 but till date I have not recd any Airtel DTH.

    I am regularly chasing and already three times complaint to airtel customer care executive but there is no any response on till date.
