I am having really hard time with Airtel DTH satellite change. Its happened 5/6 times. Some one from Airtel comes to change the direction of dish to point to new satellite. From the place where dish is installed right now it can't be pointed to new satellite. They would to reinstall the dish for it to point to new satellite. They say that old satellite is going out of service from next month.

These people are asking for extra money. I spoke to Aitel customer care 4/5 times and they say that I shouldn't have to pay any money as migration is happening because of company problem. These installation guys refuse to do the work if I don't pay. These guys are not direct employees of Airtel and are looking to make extra buck. I never expected something like this with a reputed company like Airtel. These guys seem to be asking for some sort of bribe. The guy who came for installtion is Sirnivas (Bangalore).

I am tired of chasing customer service and these people. Nothing seems to be hapenning. Airtel people if your reading this then get this fixed or I am going to have to switch to another service provider. My account number is 3006140686.

I've not received any calls yet and no one has visited my place to re-install the dish. Please make sure you send some who can re-install the dish and doesn't ask money rathe than sending people who come to change the angle of dish.

problem. Is Airtel going to migrate my connection to new satellite?

I can't imagine that company like Airtel has come to cheap means of making money like this. This is shameful.

I've lost hope and am going to migrate to tata sky next month.
