    My Airtel Digital TV account No is 3000823239

    On 9th July 2011, My 'dish' was knocked off by a storm, following which I called to lodge a complaint at the so-called eficicent Airtel Call Center, and was asked to call back in an hour as the "systems were being upgraded".
    Surely enough the 'systems' could not be upgraded throughout the day and finally i gave up, called on10th, when i got the same reply and then 11th the same reply !!!
    Even if they can not access my information, lodging a complaint should not have anything to do with it! and i should be given a reference number EVERYTIME i call up the Cumtomer call center.!!!
    Finally when i could get through, on 12th JUly, I was assured the 'dish' would be reinstalled in 24 hours.
    It has been almost 150 hrs. now, and still everytime i call up, i'm handed a new reference number and assured that the problem would be resolved in 12-24 hours.
    On top of that, the call center executives are rude and arrogant enough that when u ask them to connect you to their superiors, they disconnect the call.
    the funniest thing is that my neighbours who use Videocon and another one who uses Dish TV already got their connections up and running by 10th !!!
    It was a mistake having opted for Airtel Digital TV.

    Default airtel DTH

    hello i am Ajit Kumar and my ID is 3003674302 I have got two Airtel DTH and in 2010 at the time of installation Airtel engineer has collected the amount from my house rs 6160/- and deposited only rs 3080/- but when my service has disconnected then i made a call to tollfree no they told that we are helpless as the person has left the Job. 2ndly i have problem since last 4 months that maximum chanells are not available due to their new sattelite i have made many calls every time they have not registered the complain and giving the assurance of 24 hrs.but nothing has happened after that i force them to give me the complaint no on 8th oct.2011 and till date t.e 3-11-2011 nothing has happened and almost daily i am calling them and they are giving full assurance .today once again i talk to senior desk person Sh Punit but nothing has happened till date .these persons are making fool to all indain public.If same thing has happened to any govt. dept or public sector then media also could have highlighted the things

    Default Airtel DTH is totally eyewash

    My Customer ID :3000781597

    The Customer care service is blind eyewash speech.My complaint has recorded for three times and they promised to make my activation by the same day evening but now five days after also reply is same that by today evening will resolve the problem.The service is really apprecible in telling this type of promising words.I lost my money of Rs.170 and it may be easy for them to have without providing the service but the peoples like us feel really hard to pay.

    Angry Problem with Airtel DTH service

    Hi,

    I am having a Airtel DTH installed in my house, For the last few months I am facing problems in the connectivity, many a time I am getting message 'No signal , Check your connection' message. On being taken up with the customer care, I was told that the services were being migrated to another satellite. Now since the migration is over and on raising the issue with your help desk,two technicians were deputed to my house to check the issue. After seeing the issue, they inform me the Setup box need to be changed and it will be charged @ Rs. 750. In this regard, would like to know the following

    1. Why the customer should be penalized for a technical fault of an item provided by Airtel?.I was using Tata Sky earlier for 3 years, before being migrated to Airtel. With TATA, I never face any issue like this, and 1-2 odd issues we had faced got resolved by TATA's without charging anything.

    2.I was told by the engg, that even the replaced SETUP Box is having a 3 month Warranty only[ As the setupbox is a repaired one], If I consider the past experience, the customer should expect to pay Rs.750 per year at least , for the Poor Quality setup boxes used by Airtel.



    Though I am using many services from Airtel like Mobile/Broadband etc, I never come across with such a poor service from Airtel. Even the customer care is also in a bad shape .
