My Airtel Digital TV account No is 3000823239
On 9th July 2011, My 'dish' was knocked off by a storm, following which I called to lodge a complaint at the so-called eficicent Airtel Call Center, and was asked to call back in an hour as the "systems were being upgraded".
Surely enough the 'systems' could not be upgraded throughout the day and finally i gave up, called on10th, when i got the same reply and then 11th the same reply !!!
Even if they can not access my information, lodging a complaint should not have anything to do with it! and i should be given a reference number EVERYTIME i call up the Cumtomer call center.!!!
Finally when i could get through, on 12th JUly, I was assured the 'dish' would be reinstalled in 24 hours.
It has been almost 150 hrs. now, and still everytime i call up, i'm handed a new reference number and assured that the problem would be resolved in 12-24 hours.
On top of that, the call center executives are rude and arrogant enough that when u ask them to connect you to their superiors, they disconnect the call.
the funniest thing is that my neighbours who use Videocon and another one who uses Dish TV already got their connections up and running by 10th !!!
It was a mistake having opted for Airtel Digital TV.
