    Default AIRTEL DTH Connection/Intsllation Complaint

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    I reqested an Airtel DTH connection via Mobile phone on 23-May-2010. They advised me to pay Rs.1850/- with 4 months of Free subscription. Behalf of Airtel one executive (Executive Name: Rhizwana, Mumbai Office with transaction ID: 8923081 has taken the new request and at the time of payment I was promised that the connection/installation and activation will be done with in 48 hours. I got messages about installation will be done at 12:00 Noon on 25-May-2010. After having many followups the installation was happened at 8:00PM on 25-May-2010. After that they informed me that the activation will be done within an hour. But till now (26-May-2010, 7:42PM) has not activated. After following up again today (26-May-2010) they informed that the activation will be done in another 24 hours (i.e 27-May2010). I would like to take my money back. So I required your support for get back the money.

    Thumbs down Dth connection problem

    I have purchased one dth connection on 22/02/2011. It is recharged for 3 months that means charging is valid till 22/05/2011. Yesterday morning 01/05/2011 i found there is no signal in my dth antena.

    1. I have lodge my first complain to your customer care at around 10am yesterday. Your representative replied they do not have any service in my locality i should contact local dealer. I contact local dealer he replied he cant help me.
    2. I contacted at around 2 pm to your customer care once again . Your representative replied & given me a nos of sahana ent 9830943900.but the nos got no reply.
    3. In the evening i contact once again your rep laluprasad he has confirmed my call will be attend by 02/05/2011 morning.
    4. Today 02/05/2011 i contact at around 12.30 to your customer care sweta confirm once agin she is forwarding my mail & problem will resolved by today.
    5. I contact sahana ent at 4pm he assured to attend call at 5pm.
    6. At 6 pm he was not attending the call i called from other phone he told he is trying to attend call by 7 or he will attend only 04/05/2011.

    My question like television is an emergency equipment what is your std time to react a complain.
    I want help neither i will disconnect my line.

    Default DTH service is cheating their customers

    Hi Airtel,
    It is very sad to see the most pathatic service from your company. Mr Sunil Goswami of vriti-interactive
    (Email : **sunil.g@vriti-interactive.com <ruhi.s@vriti-interactive.com) has cheated me as a customer by falsely promising me to deliver me the Airtel HD DVR by 16 May 11 between 1900 hrs to 2100 hrs. But to my horror when i called him up i was shocked to hear from him that all the engineers are very busy because of lots of installation he would get my HD DVR installed on 17 MAy 11. But when i insisted to get the DTH installed by PM on 16 May 11 he called me up after 30 minutes and informed me that the HD DVR is not in the stock with the Airtel and he would get the normal DTH installed on the same day. I was horrified by the techniques that these people are cheating the customers and are duping the airtel services. These people are the criminals as they cheat people by giving them false promises and once the customer pays the money they try to bargain with them to solve there objectives.
    I have not understand till now as to why is the Airtel talking so much about Airtel HD DVR when they donot have the same in their stock. However when i calledup the Customer care i was told that they have lot of stock of HD DVRs and they will soon install the same at the earliest. I have already told mr Goswami to refund my money to which i was told that i may get the refund after waiting for one month or more. I may get the cheque or the money will get reembursed in my account. It is really surprising that these people who are workiung like leaches with airtel why are they eating the Company like airtel. Is airtel feeling that hese people are not going to do any harm to airtel. I request airtel to take strict action against such people who are misguiding the innocent customers and bringing bad name to the company. I am seriously planning to shift to Tata Sky after this horrible experience with airtel DTH.

    Default Non installation of dth connection

    I paid Rs 825/- on line to Airtel DTH on 10 May 2010 for activation of new DTH connection through Home Shop -18. Since then I have been frequently contacting Airtel DTH customer care executives for sending installation technician at my residence. Every time the customer care executives give full assurance but no one has turned up sa far except initially, one technician came with dish antenna and set top box which he could not fix due to there being power sht down. He left saying he would come once power is restored. But when power was restored and he was informwd of the same he kept promising he would be there in just half an hour but he never turned up again and stopped attending calls. This was also narrated to your customer care executives. Till date except assurances nothign has been done to install the connection. My particulars are as under:-

    Default Non installation of dth connection

    On purchase of Beetle mobile hand set through HOME SHOP 18, I received Free Airtel DTH offer package along with the ordered parcel in April 3rd week. On contacting Airtel customer service executive he allotted me customer ID No 3007900906 and order ID No 15700359 and asked me to recharge my account with Rs 825/- for activation. I made on line payment of Rs 825/- into Airtel Account on 10 May 2011 vide Transaction ID No 404837 dated 10 May 2011. Since then after frequent calls to customer care service only STB and Dish Antenna have been provided. Thereafter, no one has turned up to get the installation done despite numerous calls to your service executives. Every time I make call they only give full assurance that at so and so time technical engineer will visit. But no one even contacts on tele numbers provided. This is nothing but sheer harassment to customer providing no services after taking payment in advance. I am no more interested to get the Airtel DTH connection. Please refund my money Rs 825/- into my bank account No 11044280447, SBI CV Raman Nagar Branch, CV Raman Nagar PO, Bangalore 560093.

    Default Painful customer service for Airtel DTH - HELP!!!

    Hi,

    I've had the worst possible experience with Airtel DTH customer service and with the Airtel Nodal team.
    Even after spending almost 12 hours on the phone over 10 days and speaking to almost 15 executives ..my issue still remains.

    My customer ID is 3004489059 and my ph number is 9886454699.
    My address is : # 111, 2nd floor, 20th Cross, KR Layout, JP Nagar 6th phase, Bangalore - 560078.

    For the last 12 days i donot receive multiple channels including Mtv , Sony pix, Sports Channels, Discovery, NGC,.... the list goes on...even though i have subscribed for all these. It says NO SIGNAL. Error Code : B001.

    When i tried calling the customer care to get help, i was told my phone number is registered under multiple customer ID's .. the other one being 3003964365 which turns out to be in Bhopal. It has been absolutely frustrating telling Airtel that i dont know anything about this customer ID and my phone number should be registered only under my customer ID in Bangalore.

    Despite promises by Sachin, Ankit, Shailendra, Deepak, Yash,Sushma, Tapan ...nothing has happened and the issue still remains. I spend almost 1 hour daily trying to get in touch with Airtel ( bcoz the customer service sucks) and the next 1 hour explaining the problem to them.

    If you cannot resolve my problem . then please let me know an address where i can send back your Airtel DTH set top box and I would want my money refunded. Airtel so far has turned out to the worst service service provider i've had to deal with.

    This is my last resort before i either throw out the DTH or maybe courier it to Mr Sunil Mittal's office.

    Default no connection till date

    sir,
    i ve paid the required money through IVR for a new airtel DTH connection. I was promised service and connection within 48 hrs. But till now no news from their side. I am totally in a fix. I will give you the details.

    AND THE MONEY WAS PAID ON 06 JUL 11.

    have i been cheated or will i get to see my set top box?
