    My transaction id is 9263596
    and still i dont get the delivery....
    And the people from AIRTEL customr care are realy shameless....
    They are not answering properly.
    AIRTEL installation manager is more shameless he doesnt pick up the call...
    I going file the case against your company in the consumer court and local police station.
    Please help about above complaint.....

    Default Airtel customer care SUCKS big time

    I am disgusted and frustrated with how your customer call center is setup. Each time I call, it takes an average of 10 minutes to connect to someone and even then my complaint is not addressed. Only today, I booked for a movie on Channel 180, and though I got an SMS confirmation, I was not getting the channel. So I called up and finally got through at 10 pm. Already 1 hour got lapsed, and since there was a technical error on the side of Airtel, i asked the Customer care representative to address my grievance. He said he will connect me to the Manager and just went away. the phone was ringing for almost 7 minutes, and no one addressed the call.

    Obviously frustrated and feeling insulted, I called again and my call is answered in the 7th minute, and the same rigmarole continued.

    You guys really SUCK big time. My earlier DTH was Tata Sky, and I never had any problem with them. I seriously regret having shifted to Airtel.

    I have similar experience like Tushar Sambare.
    I have booked airtel dth online on 14 June and it was committed at time of booking that delivery will be on same day.
    Still I have not yet received it and nobody from them responding, even I asked them by mail to cancell by order and refund my money but no answer from them.

    And the people from AIRTEL customr care are realy shameless....
    They are not answering properly.
    AIRTEL installation manager is more shameless he doesnt pick up the call...

    I am very frustated, because for World cup football, I am taking DTH connnection.
    I don't find any option what to do because nobody is responding.

    My Customer ID is 3000890073 I had registered a complaint at digitaltv@airtel.in regarding signal problem. It has been almost 20 days, the problem is still persisting.
    I received calls from you call center and said engineer will visit tomorrow but no one visited instead every time received a message saying "your problem has been solved".
    Its a horrible experience calling your call center, it takes at least 1 hour to get to some one and after that the call gets disconnected. Please do some thing if you can or I have no choice to switch to other DTH service providers.

    Exclamation Poor Instalation service

    It took 5 days instead of 2 to get my connection installed !!!
    I have been wrongly charged for extra wiring when Airtel used my existing wiring for installation.
    The customer care has failed to look into both complaints and it takes forever to speak to a actual person.
    The DTH service is a far cry from the mobile service standards, I would be forced to reconsider my decision on going with Airtlel given this poor service.
    Statments need to be scutinised given the inaccuracy of the statment and charges for services not provided.

    Default Channels not activated

    I got Airtel Digital TV installed on 4th July 2010 at 2:00 pm. I was told that my channels will be activated within one hour. But nothing happened on that day.
    I called the customer care on the next day (5th July 2010) and they told me that channels will surely be activated by 5:30 pm in the evening. But no action was taken on that day either.
    Then again I called today (6th July 2010) at around 8:45 am, the customer care representative told me that the issue will be resolved within 2 hours.I have called 3 times since and each time I get different time by which the issue will be resolved. I am fed up of the inconsistencies . They commit something but never seem to fulfil it.
    Its been 3 days since installation and I am still not able to get any channels through Airtel TV

    Default charging for the service not asked for

    I have been an airtel customer in Chandigarh since 2007,I had taken an unlimited net connection plan.My tel developed some problem and was replaced by a new one,at the time of replacing I was told by the airtel per that they can do call forwarding from the land line to my mobile WITHOUT ANY EXTRA CHARGE ,to which iI agreed.All was fine till dec 2009 when suddenly the monthly bill came to almost twice the amount of the previous monthly bills.By that time the detailed breakdown of the calls made from the landline had stopped being reflected in the monthly bill by the company,so there was no way I could check the details .I paid off the bill thinking that maybe I had made more calls,but my next month's bill was even higher than the previous one.I asked for the details of the calls for which i was asked to pay Rs 50/-,which I did,I was shocked to go through the details.
    The calls which were forwarded from my land line to my mobile were charged,I stopped the payment of Jan'10 .I told the airtel guys that the service for call forwarding were free and why they have charged me .The reply was that the company has starting charging for that facility recently(obviously from the time I started recieving inflated bills) .My tel connection was disconnected from feb end but they kept on billing me and as of now the total payment outstanding is in the region of Rs 8,000/-.Lots of tel calls later and after a couple of visits by airtel executives they saw the light (or so I thought) and they agreed that it was their fault that they did not ask me whether I need the call fwd serviced after it was made paid service.They took Rs 2064/- on 16 Jun and promised me that my tel connection will be restored ,it is 06 Jun today and they have not done anything ,the cheque has been encashed.I was told that I am a defaulter and no connection can be given in my name.
    Moral of the story DONT TRUST THE AIRTEL EXECUTIVES THEY ARE LIARS the only thing they are bothered is increasing their customer base ,good service be damned.
    I am going in for a case against them in the consumer court.

    Default Shameless lies and pathetic customer care

    I had purchased an airtel digital tv connection on 28th June (details as below) after speaking to your customer care representative (her name was Atma). After repeatedly asking her if the direction of the house would be a problem, I was assured by her that it would not be a problem and she even went on to say that she had spoken to her superiors about the same. Finally the engineer came after 6 days on 4th July (well after the 72 hrs that you promise) and said that there was no line of sight.

    I’m highly frustrated with the behaviour of your customer service and the lack of knowledge that these people have. Because of this mistake on your part I have had to spend the last 6 days without the connection and now a further delay. Now when I speak to your customer care they say that the refund will take time and that he cannot commit anything! What kind of a customer care are you running, do you all even care about the customer at all?

    Default Airtel dth disgusting service

    My name is Manish Satija from Gurgaon

    I made payment of Rs.1750.00 for Multi connection through IVR system (Transaction Id:9563557)

    Till today the connection has not been installed while it was assured that it will take 48 hrs.

    When I am calling customer care 12150 and writing to digitaltv@airtel.in there is absolutely no response.

    Customer care executives have absolutely no information and the service itself is a disaster as calls get disconnected every time without any resolution.

    I have no idea what to do now, as wanted the connection immediately.

    I want to get my present connection which I am using for last 9 months to be disconnected.

    Please advice.

    Unhappy airtel dth complaint

    hai,
    i am using airtel digital tv for the last one year. my consumer id is 3000649528. now i am shifted my home.thats why i need the reinstallation. i am contacted the customer care and also the technicians several times. i willing to pay the re installation charges. but they didn't answer or respond for that. my area is kochi, i need re insatallation from edappally to palluruthy. i think the customer care officers were irresponsible. i need immediate action. hope you will consider my complaint. your's faithfuylly. nazeer k.k

    Default dont buy Airtel Dth

    i brought airtel dth in march 2010, since then every 15-20 days there will be a signal problem and even if i call the customer care there is no response.

    I used to call customer care for 25-30 times still there will be no response from them.

    Ihave purchage samsung colour TV with Airtel Digital TV on 5th Nov. 2010 at 2:00 pm, and called airtel customer care for book DTH activation. But nothing happened on till now.(11.11.10)
    I called the customer care again & again and they told me that your package has been booked surely. But no action was taken on that day either.
    the customer care representative told me that the issue will be resolved within 9 am 10.11.2010.I have called 9 times since and each time I get different time by which the issue will be resolved. I am fed up of the inconsistencies . They commit something but never seem to fulfil it.

    Default Airtel dth very bad services

    Hi,

    I purchased an Airtel DTH Setup box on third week of December. My box activated after 5 days after many phone call with your dealer and shop keep. After 3 days my setup box automatically shut down. When i contact to dealer to replace or resolve problem they are not giving proper response. They ignoring my problem. This is really frustrating us.

    Default one of the biggest fraud dth company

    I had installed the airtel dth on 1/12/10 and the person who did the insalation did the same in his own way. he installed the same on the boundary wall of the terrace. This tteracce is the joint property of 70 flat owners and controlled by the association. Apart from this he charged us for the extra wire which he has not provided and also left all the wire and hanging round the flat. For fixing the wire in te house he aid he forgot to bring the drill machine. On 2nd of dec, 10 I offcially launched a complain in the customer care regarding this but till today my problem has not been solved I have been regularly calling your customer care talking to your executives, senior supervisors and manager but all in vain each timethey ask for few hours but that time is never completed. When I talk to engineer in howrah he strat abusing and says he had not made any mistake.

    I am vey sad to say this one of the worst, not worst but mire than worst co service i have seen in my life and if this is your approach towards the customer stop your co instead of harrasing them. I will really file a FIR against airtel dth for harrasing me because for you people I have been really facing trouble from my building association and for the howrah distributor who abuses his customer and I have the phone recording of all the one month converstion with your staff at customer care and your engineer. my registered mobile no is 9830493479

    Default Airtel DTH- Disgusting attitude

    I am user of Airtel DTH, and my Customer ID Is 3003377516.
    I had take the connection last year with one year upfront payment. A few days ago, i received SMS saying that my subscription was due for renewal and I was advised to pay within next two days.
    I contacted Customer care at 12150, and enquired about how much money I need to pay, and what is the location in Bangalore where i could pay cash, as i was unable to pay through Credit Card.

    I was told that I need to pay Rs 4565/- for one year renewal, and Rs 2282/- for 6 months renewal.
    I immediately requested some one to pay cash Rs 2282/- for 6 month`s renewal.

    Thereafter I contacted the customer care once again for confirmation of my payment, and I was told that I had got 20 days extra usage, as part of existing offer, and i was also asked to keep my set top box on for 45 minutes.

    However, after one day of mu making the payment, a message started flashing on my screen that my account balance was negative, and I must pay immediately to avoid disconnection.

    On inquiring from Customer Care, I was told that I need to pay Rs 17/- (Rs Seventeen only), as my recharge was done one day late.
    I represented and told the customer care executive that I have paid as per what i was told, and it was very inconvenient to go and pay rs 17/-. I was told that i could pay Rs 50/- and the extra payment will give me a few extra days viewing on the current package.

    I was amazed. In case few extra rupees can give me a few extra days viewing, similarly Rs 17/- less could be adjusted to forward my next date of payment by a few days. However, the customer care executive replied that it was not possible.

    Now since last three days, there is a continuous flashing of message on my TV Screen, saying that my Current balance is Negative.

    I am also getting regular SMSs saying that my connection will be dicconnected in case I do not deposit Rs 100/- immediately.

    Will I keep on getting thiis message and SMSs for the next 6 months? Did I commit a mistake by re opting for Airtel DTH?

    The current attitude of Aircel DTH non customer friendly, and is amounting to harassement.

    Default Relocation installation

    I have been shifted to Pune from Thane. I have given request for relocation installation.
    There are more than 5 days has been passed but nothing is happening. Custmer care staff is pathetic.
    It is total frustration. I am missing world cup semifinals.

    I dont like to deal with Airtel any more.

    Default Complaint to airtel dth service

    I Peeyush Sahay(customer id-3006811846 and mobile no-09343217767) working in defense service as class-I officer in Bangalore.
    I am using AIRTEL DTH from last 2 months. i have taken 1 year north economy package.
    "I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH COMPANY'S SERVICE" My Airtel DTH is not working from last 12-13 days .it gives error code B001 on TV screen . I HAVE REGISTERED COMPLAINTS 8-9 TIMES. Some of my complain nos. is 64599356,6542121,66151311,6738341 and 6401839.this complaint nos. given by customer care executive but after all these my effort i didn't get any service response from Airtel side .
    As a customer, i am "TOTALLY UNHAPPY & UNSATISFIED" with Airtel.
    kindly check up your company's policies related to customer care and at least try to provide good service for your company's reputation.
    .This type of response force me to discontinue the Airtel DTH service and go to any other company's DTH. This type of attitude of company also force me to go to consumer forum for my problem.Kindly take needful action for that problem.

    Default No Service after upgrading to HD

    I am a Airtel Digital TV customer, customer ID no. 3003795893
    I upgraded to a HD set Top Box on 6th April 2011 and have been waiting since for my services to be upgraded but they have not been upgraded yet and my services have not resumed. I have enough balance in my Airtel Dish TV account but i get the message that i should recharge my account. The Error Code is 6. I have contacted customer care 12150 several times since then to resolve the issue. I was told that i needed to keep the STB on for 45 minutes for the services to be upgraded and i have done that but it does not seem to work. When i called customer care again i was told that my services were never started from their end! Then again i was told that my services have been started and i should keep the STB on for 45 minutes but it didn't work again. Finally i was told that there seems to be a problem with my view card and a engineer will be sent to my place to resolve the issue. I was told that a engineer would come to my place today on 8th April 2011 but the engineer has not called me and no one has visited me to resolve the issue. So i am being charged 12 Rs. per day for the services that i am not getting since the last 3 days.
    Please Resolve my issue at the earliest
