    Default Lack of service

    Hi,

    I made a complaint airtel dth through 1800 1028080 on 10th April- and my complaint Id is 6815457.

    Till now ie. 15th april no body has come to attend the fault. Everyday when i call up they say somebody will come today but no on does.

    But with in 15 minutes of complaining i get messages from them that the issue is resolvedy with out any one calling me ar coming in person.

    This has been happening every day.

    The fact is the issue is still not sorted out. I agree with others in the forum that Airtel is run by
    Cheats & .

    My customer id is 3001598979

    Can any one tell me how to take legal action?

    Default Airtel DTH cheating by providing topups for unavailable channels

    Hi,

    I recently logged on the Airtel website to manage my DTH connection. I was pleased to see that Discovery HD, Turbo and Science were being offered. I then subscribed to them. I also subscribed to the Movies Now HD topup. They also showed the FX and Fox Crime topups so i subscribed to the same. When i got home that evening i was kicked to catch up on some HD action and some quality entertainment. To my shock, these channels are not being aired by Airtel as on 15th/16th April 2011. The money for the same has been deducted from my account.
    i have created an image from my account details and the evidence is compelling and i would like to take Airtel DTH to court for fraud. I have proof that the money is deducted and that the channels are not aired.

    the customer call center does not work. no one ever picks the phone. If i text them i get no call back. i would not recommend Airtel DTH to any consumer EVER

    please help me in this regard

    I AM NITIN GARG CUSTOMER ID 3001471626, I HAVE LAUNCHED A COMPLAINT OF SET TOP BOX NOT WORKING ON 17/4/11 (COMPLAINT NO 7042567) FOR SET TOP BOX NOT WORKING. GOT A VISIT OF ENGINEER ON SAME DAY AND I WAS TOLD THAT AIRTEL IS SHORT OF SET TOP BOX AND DONT KNOW MUCH TIME IT WILL TAKE TO REPLACE.

    ON 22nd I GOT A MESSAGE FROM AIRTEL THAT MY PROBLEM IS RESOLVED. BUT MY SET TOP BOX WAS STILL NOT WORKING, SO I TRIED SOO MANY TIMES TO LAUNCH COMPLAINT AND THEN ON 23rd RELAUNCHED THE COMPLAINED WITH NO 7279802 AND SAME DAY ENGINNER VISITED AND REPLACE THE SET TOP BOX, BUT ERROR CODE 14 WAS COMMING DUE TO WHICH I AM NOT ABLE TO WATCH THE TV.

    RELAUNCHED COMPLAIND ON 23rd (NO 7299170) GET RESOLVED MESSAGE WITH IN AN HOUR WITHOUT RESOLVING
    ON 23rd NIGHT GOT MESSAGE OF RESOLVED COMPLAINT NO 7279802 WITHOUT RESOLVING
    RELAUNCHED COMPLAIND ON 25TH (NO 7328779) at 9:25 am
    RELAUNCHED COMPLAIND ON 26TH (NO 7366076) at 12: 52 pm GET RESOLVED MESSAGE at 4:20 pm WITHOUT RESOLVING.
    RELAUNCHED COMPLAIND ON 29TH (NO 7478257) GET RESOLVED MESSAGE on 30th at 5:19pm WITHOUT RESOLVING.
    RELAUNCHED COMPLAIND ON 2ND (NO 7525830) GET RESOLVED MESSAGE on 3RD at 9:39AM WITHOUT RESOLVING.
    RELAUNCHED COMPLAIND ON 3RD (NO 7574391) GET RESOLVED MESSAGE on 3RD at12:26AM WITHOUT RESOLVING. WITH IN 3 HRS
    RELAUNCHED COMPLAIND ON 4TH (NO 7625649) GET RESOLVED MESSAGE on 5th at 9:55 AM WITHOUT RESOLVING.
    RELAUNCHED COMPLAIND ON 6TH (NO 7700621) GET RESOLVED MESSAGE on 6th at 7:55pm WITHOUT RESOLVING. WITH IN 2 HRS

    APART FROM ABOVE I AM IN CONTINUS TOUCH ON PH NO 8800691903 AFTER FEW DAYS THEY THEY STOP PICKING UP MY PHONE AND TOLD ME TO CONTACT MT SHALAINDER ON 9810908963.
    AFTER CONTACTING HIM I WAS TOLD ON 29TH THAT MY PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED BY EVENING AND AFTER THAT HE ALSO STOP PICKING UP MY PHONE.
    I HAVE CALLLED HIM 5 TIMES ON 30TH APRIL ( 1:39 PM, 2:12 PM, 5:42 PM 5:45 PM), 2 TIMES ON 1ST MAY ( 2:59 PM, 3:05 PM) 2ND MAY (10:04 AM, 3:51 PM, 7:40 PM, 7:43 PM,7:47 PM, 7:50 PM, 7:59 PM, 8:15 PM,8:25 PM), 3RD MAY (9;25 AM), 6 TH MAY (7:50 PM).

    GOT A CALL FROM 011-46867900 ON 26TH APRIL (12:50 PM), 2ND MAY 5:25 PM, 4TH MAY (9:17 AM, 5:44 PM), 7TH MAY 11:38 AM AND ALWAYS TOLD ABOUT MY PROBLEM THAT IT IS NOT BEEN RESOLVED TILL TODAY.

    ON 3RD MAY EVEN GOT A CALL FROM 044- 45921600AND TOLD THEM THE SAME THING.

    AT LAST AFTER SUCH A LONG FOLLOWUP MY BOX WAS WORKING AFTER 21 DAYS.SO I AM REALLY THANKFULL TO AIRTEL FOR THE ABOVE SERVICES EXTENT TO ME.

    THANKS ONCE AGAIN FOR SUCH A GOOD SERVICE TO ME.

    Default complaint unresolved for more than 8 days for HD channels

    my name is narendra & airtel id is 3003123217 . I subscribed HD channels after installing HD stb sometime early may. after that I started getting HD channels like movies now , ngc,discovery etc till 2nd june. after 2nd une the channels show B001 error. I am getting all other regular channels properly. I am getting 999 channel too with B001 errors.
    after calling 12150 every day.i used to get complaint number only to get sms next day that the complaint is resolved..finallly after a lot of shouting the engineer came today on 12th june. he struggled , worked hard, spoke to many people including call center and said the problem is now resolved through " release" by call center. he left stating that the issue will get resolve after 45 minutes...no change after 8 hours!!!.
    it is quite a pain now and I am just plain fed up and dread with the thought of giving another call to the call center who further frustrate with comitting of 24 hour resolution

    would like to know if airtel can really resolve the problem!..am virtually thinking of giving my HD viewing aspiration till the end of the one year subscription i have taken and then shift

    My CUSTOMER ID IS 3008088203.........Thru dis mssg i jst want to tell d whole harressment i had gne thru n still gng............SO MCH OF A COMPLAIN I HAD NT DONE B4..............Instead of branding so much u jst go thru d system to find out y no action is being taken towards customer complaints........

    customer care executives disconnects d line as n wen they wish....d whole system is FRAUD...wen i wantd d connection dey were respondin nicely....bt after dat no ears to resolve if ne1 makes a complaint....i had made numerous calls to d customer care wing in 5 days for resolution of my services.....bt without fixing d problem dey mark u as problem resolved......I JST WANT TO NOE WEN CAN I EXPECT MY SERVICES BACK..........I AS A CUSTOMER HAD NOT FELT SO CHEATED B4..............evry tme
    dey say ur problem ll b solved wiyhin 24 hrs....bt till date no 1 appeared....WHAT A SHAME....I jst want a date for resolution of my services......n if u cant provide 1 gve me my cash back...i really ll nt recommend ne1 4r such connection................FRUSTATED N IRRITATED......if u cant manage d customer care wing nicely den just shut ti down instead of ruining image lyk dis.... n dats a humble request

    My name is sameer gupta from ujjain (m.p.) i am subscriber of airtel dth of last 1 years. my airtel dth id is 3003991367 but in my dth not running last 15 -20 days. when i am open then only one windows open they show error. i had already complaint for local airtel dth service center no. is 0734-4013381, but they donot solve issue till date. when i called him they always say we will do today but this is not solve till date. sir can you give me your any customer care no. where i talk direactly your customer care executive.
    sir plz solve this issue because i am felling someone cheat me. because if i take tata sky connection or sun dth connection or dish tv connection, then i think my complaint solve soon.

    Default Airtel DTH and its employees: Cheating

    My name is Vijayakumar. My Airtel DTH Cus. Id. is 3007196461. I have shifted from velachery to Mogappair East, Chennai (LOCAL). I contacted Airtel representative, One Ravi (9962923952). He came after many calls and dismantled the dish and collected Rs.250/- without giving a bill/receipt. Why I asked him, he said not required. After two days I called him he received and told he will come and reinstall. He did not come. I called several times in the next week he did not receive calls. After a week, I called him (20 days) and asked him to come and install since he has already taken money. He said he can not come and asked us to call customer service centre and pay Rs.200/- fro reinstallation. In the meantime, I called customer service and complained about that Ravi. They have not taken action and asked me to pay Rs.200/- for reinstallation. Since that Ravi, Velachery, Chennai is an employee of Airtel and he was the person who installed Airtel DTH, I approached him. He cheated me. I have lodged a complaint in Tamil Nadu Consumer Court against Ravi and Airtel. Will AIRTEL collect Rs.200/- from Ravi and reinstall the connection?

    Unhappy Complaint to airtel dth service

    I am user of Airtel DTH, and my Customer ID Is 3005436770.Mobile no-9994545363.
    I have an problem with my DTH connection for last one month, problem is audio is not working only video is coming. From airtel they came and change the set top box but yet the same problem is exist. Again i complaint in CC, they again change the set top box and said it will activate in 2 hours, but not activated again they said that it will be activate in 24 hours but yet there is no activation is made from 4 days . Now there is no video neither audio nothing is coming, there is an ERROR CODE-14 in an screen. I called to the airtel office but they are not giving an propoer response saying it is an issue of Higher office they have to take an action we cant do anything.... PL sir Help me to get out of this.

    Thumbs down Airtel dth service

    I was called by airtel sales person on Sunday 25 September giving me the details about airtel dth i agreed and a person came and collected the amount for connection on 27th Sep and was told within 24 to 48 hours the installation will be done but till 72 hours no one came nor called i started calling customer care on 30th Sep asking about the status when the connection will done i spoke to 5 supervisors and i had to call 10 times and each time i had to spend 25 minutes on the phone nor the reps where professional or courteous nor the supervisors 5 times i was promised call backs and none them called back and the connection is yet to be given and when asked for cancellation and refund they asking me to wait for 7 working days if airtel is not able to deliver the service then should close the company instead of cheating the customers and giving mental harassment please can someone look into this case and get the issue sorted

    hi...its better you switch to some other DTH service....as even i m facing xactly the same problem....and they r....so ****ing.................. their service is tooooooooooooooooo bad, they don respond properly, they dont have gud engineers......these ppl sucks......they are big time fraud

    My custmer ID 3001693457 we are sorry to inform you that yesterday your engginear come and told our service transpoder is change and if you get seeting today we do this changes free of charge i agree with your enginear and do your seting but your engi.say your cable is fautly we say you can change immidiate but till this time your eng.not come and your setup box not work last 36hrs.also your custmer care person told if we send our eng.you we will charge Extra Rs.100.00 our eng fees we cant under stand once your person come and creat problem and other eng.you will send and get charges extra from your custmer poket it is very very sad your pickpoket thinks any way if you interested to repair without cost please send your eng.other wise we file your complaint in near police station

    You hopeless Airtel creatures have harassed me for the bill payment and now when the payment is cleared and a new SIM card is provided to me for the same number for activation; it seems you all have forgotten that even the documents are submitted!!! till 12 days ; TODAY you dont even know if the documents are submitted or not????? and now you ask me to check if the same number is available and i why should i re submit the documents?? Has Airtel sold my documents and hence not activating my services till the 13th day today?? Even today the hopeless executives are repeating the same history that my services will be activated by today evening!!! which i have been told everyday.. and again they are saying that they will call back!!!???? which they have never done since 13 days!

    Due to some reason i hv to change my room and for that im gvng thousands of call to customer care for service . firstly they dnt pick phone and if pick then every time they use to extend the time of service.
    wat the hell is this

    Default Airtel DTH HD poor service issue

    Hi,
    My customer number is 3000079440. For the past 5 days i'm getting ERROR CODE-14 so could not watch my TV. Everyday i call Airtel DTH call centre and gave complaint, they say someone will come today but nobody turned up. But automatically message will come with in couple of hours saying "issue resolved". It also says if issue resolved call number "07829371520" but after trying many times also, nobody picks except once and gave other number "9379227794" to call for the issue but that number also nobody picks.

    Please resolve this issue asap otherwise let me know how to terminate airtel DTH service and refund whatever money i have in Airtel DTH account.

    Airtel DTH has very worst customer service. i wonder how airtel can increase subscriber with this bad service.

    Complaint numbers : 14618346, 14575977,14541418.

    My Customer ID is 3001545610 I had registered a complaint at signal problem. It has been almost 4 days, the problem is still persisting.
    I received calls from you call center and said engineer will visit your home. He had came and told me that I have to change SET TOP Box, I am ready pay whatever amount for set top box but till this time, He hasn't come back and every time received a message saying "your problem has been solved".

    WE HAVE NO CHOICE,,,,,,,

    Any body know who repairs the SET TOP BOX..... in Ahmedabad....

    Default Airtel call centers are worse in the whole world

    Your customer service associates are not professional to talk to the customers, they need intence training on that part...

    I'm not happy with he way your associate talked to me...I had to call multiple times in order to resolve my query but still couldn't get any help...

    I'm not going to continue the Airtel services.....

    A BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS IN MAKING CUSTOMERS HAPPY...BINGO.....:P
