I had logged in a complaint on this site - Airtel DTH in May-2011.

One person from Airtel ( i think ) - Vaibhav Mishra - got in touch with me and followed up regularly to check if the equipment was taken back or not. After weeks of followup he finally managed to help with the equipment handover.

Then the reporting of the equipment handoff was not done by the local rep. After few more followups which did not yield results, i sent a scanned copy of the acknowledgement for their reference. I was promised that the money will be credited to my account by 16-Aug.... which has not yet happened.

After following up few times, I was assured that it would be taken up and the money would be released... which has still not happened. The cell ph no of Vaibhav Mishra is always busy.. or they just do not pick up my calls.

The question to Airtel is: where is my money ? do you have any intentions of returning it back ?

Airtel DTH is THE MOST FRUSTRATING organization to deal with.... they are terrible beyond words !
