I made a request to cancel the connection reference number 15102790(that too after tons of calls). The Airtel person ( ShivPrakash) came and collected the STB, remote and Antenna.
After that I got sms on my mobile that my account has been recharged . Then I got message that package has been changed to some Kannada package.
I was surprised how can someone else use my account . It appears that Airtel person handed over the device to someone who is using it happily without paying any charge for new connection.
This is not only immoral and out of policy but also illegal .
After that I made subsequent request to disconnect my connection and still no action has been taken. This is height of cheating and fraud that my account has been given to someone else and he is using it happily.

Please take action otherwise I am going to take legal action on this with Airtel for fraud, account hacking and illegal business practice. I am very sorry to say but the quality of service in any sense can't be worse than what Airtel has to offer and then the cheating and fraud are icing on the cake.

Airtel call center guys will either put you on hold or tell that complaint has already been taken.
To add , they are as unprofessional as anything. They dont even understand English, forget about speaking in english.
I am very sorry to say that after this experience I would suggest everyone not to use any service of Airtel.
