I bought one Airtel DTH HD wth recorder on 20th August'11 by making payment through IVR system using my creditcard. On the same day I got sms from airtel that installation will be done same day by 5 pm. As the same was not done, I called up customercare on 21st morning, I was told that installation will be done by end of day, again I call cust.care at 7 pm. to request cancellation,I was told by Mr Jitender(supervisor) that installation will be done on 22nd Aug. Ween I called on 22nd at 5 pm., Ritu(again supervisor) of cust. care told me that installation would be done by 7 pm. sameday. I called up at 7 and talked to Sachin(supervisor) and he told me that it would be installed nextday, when I asked for cancellation, I was told that I can do cancellation but no refund will be done. Also he was asking my Creditcard number as well as Bank account number. I'm not sure why did he want my bank account number, although I told him repeatedly that payment was done by CC.
I'd really appreciate if you could guide me how to cancel the booking and get the refund.
