    Default --Airtel DTH issue for over 20 days--

    Hi,

    I've had the worst possible experience with Airtel DTH customer service and with the Airtel Nodal team.
    Even after spending almost 12 hours on the phone over 10 days and speaking to almost 15 executives ..my issue still remains.

    My customer ID is 3004489059 and my ph number is 9886454699.
    My address is : # 111, 2nd floor, 20th Cross, KR Layout, JP Nagar 6th phase, Bangalore - 560078.

    For the last 12 days i donot receive multiple channels including Mtv , Sony pix, Sports Channels, Discovery, NGC,.... the list goes on...even though i have subscribed for all these. It says NO SIGNAL. Error Code : B001.

    When i tried calling the customer care to get help, i was told my phone number is registered under multiple customer ID's .. the other one being 3003964365 which turns out to be in Bhopal. It has been absolutely frustrating telling Airtel that i dont know anything about this customer ID and my phone number should be registered only under my customer ID in Bangalore.

    Despite promises by Sachin, Ankit, Shailendra, Deepak, Yash,Sushma, Tapan ...nothing has happened and the issue still remains. I spend almost 1 hour daily trying to get in touch with Airtel ( bcoz the customer service sucks) and the next 1 hour explaining the problem to them.

    If you cannot resolve my problem . then please let me know an address where i can send back your Airtel DTH set top box and I would want my money refunded. Airtel so far has turned out to the worst service service provider i've had to deal with.

    This is my last resort before i either throw out the DTH or maybe courier it to Mr Sunil Mittal's office.

    Dear Airtel team,

    My customer ID is 3008117371.
    I wonder why customer care ever exists in this company, when the company doesnot care for the customer.
    the follwing have made me conclude this decision.

    1. i have booked airtel digital tv connection on June 1st week (though there are other more economical/with more offers service providers). but I chose Airetel, as heard about its good service (which is not true ofcourse)
    2. The money has been transferred through credit card on same day
    2a. repeated calls were made but customer care executaives think that they can handle everything well, they didot bother to register anything, donot revea; the proper information, and if only were shouted, then they relase the gravity of situatiion and transfer teh call to higher authorities
    3. but the connection was installed on june 12th..after repeated calls ( the delay in installation-beacuse company doesnot have white cable and its the responsibilyt of the customer to buy the avaliable stock, so that the company can clear its inventory and the customer care cannot oordinate with the database)
    4. after the installation till this date (June 14' 2011) the TV screen is blank (no error message/no programe)
    5. I have made repeted calls (~ >20 calls) and have also mailed them. but till date no response.
    6. The engineers don't know how to talk and behave to customers.. were rude and showed off attitude of working in Airtel , as if we damn care). didinot bother to wait and check if the proper installation is done/ or customer os satisfied.
    7. I have asked many times for money refund ( but as we all know money once gone cannot come back),the customer care executves replied that the request has been initated (but ofcourse not). you are asked to hold call for long time.
    8. is our time not precious/ or do u assume who so ever has airtel connection stays at home, infront of their screen all day nd has all the time on earth to chat with airtel people.

    Do ypu people have any expalantion for all your rude, unsymphatetic and irresponsile behaviour. How are you planning the cost of our suffering and the damage caused by Airtel.
