I bought an Airtel DTH connection on the 2nd of May 2011. Since then I have been seeing only a blue screen showing the error code "B001". When ever I get a faint signal, all I can see on television is garbled video and scrambled audio.
Repeated complaints to the Airtel call center has not yielded A SINGLE response. I am supposed to be getting the first 4 months subscription free, however I have not had a working Airtel DTH connection for the last 2 months. I am even unable to get the connection disconnected. When you request for a disconnection the call center rep say that you will receive a call from the backend team. However that has not happened till date!
AIRTEL DTH IS IN THE BUSINESS OF CHEATING CONSUMERS. No one takes a DTH connection to be hassled by poor service and inefficient governance. If ever you think of taking an Airtel DTH connection please learn from my experience. Please save every one you know from the agony I've been through. Honestly there are far better service providers than Airtel.
