    Default Airtel DTH poor service

    I am airtel digital TV customer with customer id: 3004696048
    I had raised a complaint 2 weeks back and service request number is 4421563.
    I was not getting any channel, the error being, "No Signal Found" and raised complaint.

    After calling continuously for 3 days, an engineer came to my home(Don't know his name) and worked for 3 hours.
    I was delayed by 3 hours to go to office but still waited for them to fix.
    By the end, i got some channels but some were still not coming.
    And also, to add on, this is not fixed, it varies every time.
    Then they said, problem is with the set top box(which we purchased from airtel 3 months back)
    and hence will come and replace it with new one the very next day.

    Now it is one week and no one has come and I feel very pathetic about the whole behaviour.
    No one is picking my call now and Customer care says the service request has been closed.
    How is this possible?This is how they deal with their customers?
    We had paid 5 months rent and took airtel dish which I now think was a mistake from our part.
    Very sorry to say but horrible customer service they have. Very very disappointing.

    Hi,

    I am also facing same kind of harrasement...... my customer id is 300089864...Since last one week my settop box is not working.....
    Last week, my settop box stuck...and "No signal" error spotted.. Remote control is not working and nothing comming on my TV... I talk to CC executive ...and they have forwarded my request....but after number of follow up also nothing coming out...when ever i talk to executives ....i found only false committments... the local service provider is not picking up the call.. The nodel officer is also giving false commitement... as Ms. Kamath has explaind....same unfortunate events happening with me.... and till date, till now.... my TV/Settop box is not working....It is already more then week..

    I am plannig to sue against Bharti enterprise...

    Dont Ever Buy...Airtel Digital TV...............

    Unhappy Airtel DTH service Horrible - No solution for my Complaint sive 10 Days.

    I am airtel digital TV customer with customer id: 3004880902
    I had raised 4 complaint since 4th May 2011 and my last service service request number is 7779086.
    I was not getting any channel, the error being, "No Signal Found" and raised complaint.

    After calling continuously , an engineer came to my home and told me that it is problem of the TV and charged me visiting fee. I called TV tech and he showed me with the proof that it is Set up box problem. Then again I had to complain and then after 2 complaints tech. came with the set up box and changed but did not solved the error 14 which is coming. .
    I called him sevreal time and only answer i am getting i will get back in 5 min. But don't know when he will revert. My TV is blank and since 10 days we have not seen TV. And now his phone is showing not in service.
    I called the customer care and they have given me the no of the service company of Navi Mumbai which is out of service. Number of Sr. Manager which is again not reaacheable. I don't know what to do. 4 times I have given the complaint and the complaint has been closed with out solving the problem.

    Now I feel very pathetic about the whole behaviour.
    This is how they deal with their customers?
    We had paid 12 months rent I now think was a mistake from our part.
    Very sorry to say but horrible customer service they have. Very very disappointing

    Same problem...I am fed up with the Airtel DTH customer care.

    They just refuse to do the re-installation of my DTH connection for last 5
    days. Finally after breaking my head against the wall they did the
    re-installation today .

    will also register a complaint in the Consumer Court against Airtel DTH. I
    spoke to the manager(Lokesh) yesterday and he said work will be done.

    He gave me number of the enterprise in Whitefield. When I called that number he
    said that's not my job.

    Rubbish service quality. My DTH was de-installed 4 days and now nobody wants to
    come for re-installation.


    Great news is that i am still not able to see most of the channels. I am only
    getting some regional channels..

    Your service engineer told me that other channels will come in 10 minutes. Its
    been 6 hours and I still do not get the channels.Now they are saying the new set top box they had given to me is faulty. They dont have a replacement. When i said i will complain, the service engineer said do whatever you want nothing will happen..

    I want to disconnect the Airtel DTH connection and from now on I would strongly
    advise my friends and relatives not go to for Airtel.
