I , Arijit Ghosh, a customer of your digital tv service is now very dissapointed with the services of the DTV. For the last 4 days, i had seen the worst of the services of the DTV which i used to boast about earlier to my new ones. Now, the service quality which i had experienced had gone to the lowest level of customer service across all service sectors and products which i am ashamed to say at this point of time. Right now, i dont think myself as the proud owner of Airtel DTV. Please find the description of the incidence-
On Saturday evening i.e. 21.05.2011, there was a huge storm happened in my area (Asansol, West Bengal) due to which the power cut had happened from 3 pm to 8 pm. Later on, when electricity resumed, i switched on my DTV but it was showing "No Signal" and the Error code was B001. I tried to inform this to customer care but failed. Then i contacted local service provider contact no. is 09932460449 and they told me that either by Sunday or by latest Monday, the guy will reach my place to fix up the problem. I had registered a technical complaint also regarding this to Customer Care. But, No body turned up till Sunday evening. Then I called up Customer care to Inquire that whats the problem and how much time it will take t solve the same. But, no satisfactory response had come from ur side. I tried for 4 times with the expectations that someone will atleast guide or assure me that my problem will get resolved but all my efforts went in vain. Next day, I.e. on 23/05/2011, I again called up local service provider for the confirmation and he told me that the guy will reach anytime today. But, to my utmost surprise, no body had turned up. Neither any botheration was there from Customer care side regarding my complaint. Then in the same evening, I again tried 6 times to Customer care for resolving the issue but the results are the same. Next day i.e. I again contacted the local service provider and he again assured me that guy will definitely reach today. But, again to a very disssapointing note, he didn’t turned up nor there was a single call from customer care for resolving the issue.
So, I am bound now to write that I want to surrender the Airtel Digital TV now and I declare that the customer care and the local service provider are solely responsible for the same and please do the needful as soon as possible.
