    I am a subscriber of ultra pack and hold two connections, one of them hd. Recently, new channels have been added to the ultra pack like cbs, fox, movies now etc. But the same were not activated on my connections. When I called up cc, they told me that these are not part of the ultra pack and I need to take additional top ups. When I reminded them that they were giving me false info and that these channels were displayed on Airtel website as part of ultra pack, I was told that they Will revert back and hung up. This was ten days back and nobody has called since. I also sent a mail dated 14 May to Airtel presence and also tweeted several times but airtel does not want to reply. This is one in the list of my very bad experiences with airtel's customer care service.

    Finally, I got respite. One Mr. Vaibhav called me yesterday and, for a change, tried to understand the problem. He realised what my problem was and activated all the channels on both the boxes. However, I am now being charged the additional monthly fee to bring this to Rs. 397.08, which is fair. CBS Spark was not activated on my 2nd set top box i.e. the HD one. Today, when Mr. Vaibhav called to enquire if my grievance was settled, I informed him about CBS Spark. He called me after some time and told me that although the system does not allow this channel on 2nd box (as it is a premium channel), I am being allowed free viewing for this channel for one year as I was a "Valued Customer". Although I have received an SMS that Rs. 11.03 will be deducted from my account for CBS Spark, Mr. Vaibhav has assured me that the amount has been reversed and I shall not be charged extra. I have my fingers crossed.
    All is well that ends well. Thank you Vaibhav for your assistance.
    My request to Airtel CC is - Please show this understanding in the first instance. Don't make your customers hate you and think about moving over to competition. What has been done, could have been done 3 weeks back without harassing me. And please educate your CC executives to give correct information to customers. Customers call them with great expectations that these guys are going to help them. They are the face of Airtel. If they disappoint customers, the whole brand loses value.
    Think about it.
