I, Salona Perhar, am using Airtel Set-top box connection from the last 6-7 years and my customer ID No. is 3002698573. I would like to place a complaint about the poor response from customer care providers of Airtel which I have experienced in last 2 days. My complaint in detail is explained below:-

1. On 8th Oct – I called their customer care executive to place a request to convert my Airtel Set-top box services into HD TV. Their executive informed me to pay Rs. 1500/- for the same which was deposited in my account.
2. Next morning i.e. on 9th Oct (Sunday), their executive had a visit in our residence with a new Set-top box and asked for another Rs. 700/- to activate the same. Then he informed that my connection will be activated in ˝ an hour time frame and he left from there.
3. After that, we got an sms from no. 8130364303, mentioned

“Hope your HD TV is activated successfully and for any query, please contact on 8130364303 for any query”.

Then, I called on that number which belongs to Mr. Anil. I explained my problem to him and he asked me to get a recharge of another 72 Rs to activate the services. When I said, why every time I have been asked to recharge this connection rather than inform me onetime, how much to pay, he replied so rudely and disconnected the phone. And finally the result is still the same that my Airtel HD Services has not yet been activated.

I was very surprise to have such poor services from Airtel and such service providers are just ruining the image of the reputed name of AIRTEL.

You are requested to take necessary action on this issue.
