    Angry Complaint againgst Airtel Digital TV

    I am M K Sarma (Phone No.09435137566) and my Airtel DTH Cutomer ID is 3002936940. On 23rd April, my airtel TV started showing "No Signal". It could not be rectified at our end. For few days no one could even be contacted through the helpline number. Finally, a complaint (Complain No: 2628787) was launched to the customer service cell on 5th May. But, no one turned up. Yet after a couple of days I got an SMS from Airtel informing me that the problem had been resolved. I replied back with an SMS that the problem was not resolved. Meanwhile, an email was also sent to customer service, but nothing happened. I again called up the helpline when the cutomer care executive gave me the phone number (09957581765) of some local service provider and I was also told that the entire money which is being sucked by Airtel on daily basis in spite of no signal would be refunded. The local service provider had promised to rectify the problem within a day. But, no one turned up despite following up for 5/6 days. Thereafter, he gave me another phone number (09957525075) which number is never picked up. Then I again called up the helpline on 5th June and narrated the entire story when the customer care executive registered the complaint afresh with Complain No: 296992 and assured that the complaint would be resolved by the next day. But, no one turned up and the problem remained unresolved till date. Yet money is being consumed from my Account everyday.

    It is absolutely poor service from Airtel.

    I want that the issue is addressed suitably and my problem is resolved on priority.

    Default No signal since 4-july-2010

    There is no signal in my Airtel Digital TV since 4th July 2010. I have been complaining since 5th July 2010 to the customer care 3 to 4 times daily for the resolution. There are 4 tickets raised till date for the same, they are 3222355, 3238437, 3246773 and 3259118. But, everytime I call customer care they say it will be resolved by tomorrow. But, till now it is not done. I request Airtel to give back my money back which I have given for yearly subscription and for other top ups so that I can go for service from other service providers. They say we can NOT do that. They have given franchise to other dealers for repairing service. They are quite unprofessional.

    Default Airtel Digital TV Complaint and No Customer Service

    I am Sunil Chowdhary and My Airtel STB ID : 0036032776006174 from 3rd September 2010 my connection is disconnected till date and many times i called up to customer care and also sent mail but they were not doing anything and after that i contact to nodal office, again the same response nothing they were doing. I am very much anoid from your services airtel is a brand name that's why we choose this but thing is different here i must agree airtel service is very poor it's pathetic. Every time new people picked the call and take all the details but no solution?Last option is left to approach TRAI and Consumer Court .

    Airtel don't think about their customers at all .

    I want issue would be resolved on high priority.

    Dear Sir

    I have the customer ID NO. 3001159360 & COMPLAINT NO. 3638565. I have complained on 23.08.2010 about error code B001 and your CCE told me that your problem will be resolved till 13:30 hrs. of 24.08.2010. Your engineer called me at 14:30 and ask to come. He come and checked the connection but no result and told that he will come tomorrow on 25.08.2010. But 25.08.2010 no engineer has come till date and the message on mobile no. 9814628398 is given at 8:38 pm on 25.08.2010 that your complaint has been resolved but still your engineer has not come and how the problem is resolved , I don’t know. How is your company that without engineer coming the problem is resolved automatically and I again contacted your customer care at 7:18 Pm on 25.08.2010 and they told that our engineer will visit on 29.08.2010. How is your company? How your company will grow without firm commitment on false facts. I don’t know. How many days will take this complaint? I don’t understand. Will it take 30 days or 60 days. Is there no reputation of your company.Till date 15.09.2010 It is not resolved. How the company will grow.
    Kindly resolve my problem immediately.

    my Airtel DTH connection number is 3004251228, and my mobile no: 9940900055.
    on entry i have been given south mega pack which costs Rs.330. per month.
    after the expire of 3 months subscription, i tried very many times through customer service by my mobile to go for a smaller pack. but there was no guidance to me from the customer service side. every time i call they give some mechanical reply and they do not guide me to select a pack.
    hence i have been compelled to stick to my Big t.v connection.
    it seems that there are very many packs which are smaller and there are some free-bees also available. but there is no support from the customer service side .

    I moved to my new house and has raised a complaint with Airtel Digital TV on Nov-25-2010. today is Dec-11-2010 and the issue still remain. inspite of multiple follow ups no one bother to look into the issue. i am thinking of going to consumer court on this case. I will be talking to lawer tomorrow.

    Pathetic service from Air tel. i regret for buying DTH from Airtel in the first place.

    Default Terrible service from airtel digital TV

    its absolutely terrible service from one of indias high profile brand.I tool airtel tv connection last year and since then i ve always abused the kinda service these guys provide.My TV is not working since 15 days and i daily log on request.Ct care is absolutley filthy and ppl just dont care about customers.When i call up they just give a complaint number and nobody ever turns up.Its frustrating to call them but ppl dont have a choice.If you call them they will ask to hold and then the calls are disconnected.These kind of brand names providing sucha horrendous service.They ask to sms help and send it to some number but noone calls back.Its a waste of time and energy.I have already asked few of my friends to buy a tata sky and never go for airtel TV connection .These guys are just shameless.Even after speaking to a manager the problem remains.Wonder what the guy is getting paid for.ct ID 3001563478

    We have booked for a Airtel DTH Connection – plan T7/00020358 for Rs 1990/- from REACH TELECOMMUNICATION Annanagar on 21st March,2011.
    We were assured by your person Mr Bala that the installation will take place on 22nd March,2011 by 5.00 pm.
    As none of your personnel turned up to our house, we went enquiring the status with Mr Bala (98400-77777). My wife was made to wait for more than two hours inspite of her repeated request.
    The way he responded to my wife was boorish. He also said they will install only at their convenience and we have no right to demand installation.
    We thought as like AIRTEL, all its dealer network is also value added outlets.
    We have decided not to have any business association with AIRTEL and will also ensure to tell as many of our known to discourage services from AIRTEL.
    AIRTEL being such a reputed organization must ensure quality at every level.

    My set box has stopped working since last week.Its showing error code SM2. i tried calling customer care but i failed. either its don't connect or if it connects, they will put you on hold or flaty cut it.
    Yesterday somehow i was able to connect to on representative, he assured me my service will be checked and problem will be resolved with in half hr. but till now i am facing the same problem.
    Tell me what should i do...whom i should call or whom i should meet regarding this problem.
    Or should i throw this machine and buy some other company's Dish Tv

    Angry Complaint against Poor CC of Airtel Digital TV

    My customer ID 3000054487 is registered in the name of Navneet Raman. My contact No. is 9970056107/ 9960033973...I am getting installation error on my set top box since 2 days(17/04/11) And the eroor code is SM2...I am trying to connect to customer Care but all in vain...Everytime either call gets dropped or no one picks the call...I hav tried atleast 500 times if not more...Once i got connected on 19/o4/11 but then they told me that their system is down for maintenance...I asked them for call back service and they told me that they will call me on my registered mobile no...But nothing happened...Still i am getting the same error...And the worst part is that daily deduction in still going on...This is really Pathetic...Really poor from Airtel And this is not what is expected from them...

    Hi Myself Smita, and I recently moved my house. Airtel digital staff is totally useless to do their work. They donot have any courtesey for their clients. I am sure in the future u'll in big trouble because of such treatment.

    First request was made on 14 May 2011around 1400 hrs. was asked to contact 9860233138 for any query.
    The workorder generated said JOb would be completed in
    Minimum time ie 15 May 2011 before 1800 hrs
    Maximum time ie 20 May 2011before 1124 hrs .
    On 15 th nobody called but i got a message saying your complaint resolved.
    Again i called on 17 Some lady took my complaint said your problem would be solved next day ie 18 th May 2011 befor 1200 hrs .
    Agaim i called somebody said my address is not correct which wasnt the case because name of society was taken wrong eveny after spelling it for the executive.On this call i was given the no of Punes biggest distributor . called him around 1730 hrs on 18 may 2011, said will send someone tomorrow he took all the details. Nobody turned up on 19 th , mean while i got a call from Kharadi office saying we sending our engineer and he will contact nobody did. And now comes the D day 20 May 2011. I made a call some executive received and challenged me saying the stipulated time for the job ie 20 May and 1124 hrs has not reached so i cant takre your complain time now was 1017 hrs.Agian called at 1145 hrs and then asked to escalate but it didnt happen. And the biggest joke Happened when a lady whom i asked to connect me to her manager puts me on hold after speaking to her for 5 mins and the call goes for 1 hour 30 mins , n i ws listening to the bell desperately in hope that somebody would receive . Finally i myself disconnected the call as there were more Imp callas to be attended.During the 7 days always wanted to speak to a manager my call would be transferred and it became a dropped call everytime.Some body plz help me out Airtel is actually a pain . Hope Even DTH comes with a portability system.

    I dont know why my problem is not resolved from last 20 days. i having
    video problem i am not able to view the video because of some problem
    in setup box. 10 Jul 2011 engineer visit my place and take the setup
    box for repairing purpose but after that no one can come for set the
    setup box and also distributor is not pick my call neither airtel
    customer care pick my phone neither your senior is help me out.

    SO I DECIDED TO GO WITH INDIAN CUSTOMER CARE COURT WHERE I CAN FIND MY
    RESOLUTION.

    This is last warnning and last email i dont want any argument or any
    other thing. i want resolution asap with refund money which i wastage
    because of delay in resolution.

    So if you not able to reply within 48 hours i will submit my details
    to goverment site against you and we will meet in customer care court
    becuase i am having call details and all complain id with me.

    Default Problem faced in recharging my AirtelDTH account.

    My Airtel DTH customer ID is 3003405715. The connection is in the name of Sandip Naskar.

    Problem: Today morning at about 7:39am, i recharged my Airtel DTH Rs 100 using net banking.
    i have mailed the transaction details at email ids digitalTV@airtel.in & 121@airtelindia.com

    Due to some issue, my airtel dth account didnot got recharged. but 100rs got deducted from my SBI account.
    Kindly check the issue and recharge my account.

    Note: I have already called your customer care number few times now. till now the customer representative failed to raise any complain id.

    Default Very poor services, digital tv

    Dear Mr.Shib Sankar Bose(NODAL OFFICER, WB)

    I would like to bring to your notice that my digital TV has been going through serious service issues.

    First since there was a change of satellite positioning of my dish, the service has been really poor. With a light blow of rain/wind the service is gone for an hr.

    Secondly, since last month the channels get vanished by 1 am at night daily
    I made a complaint for the same and a technical person came up for no use, for which I WAS CHARGED FEES.
    Moreover for the last 2 days my dad has been calling your customer care for which me has to wait for 10 mins each time to get a rep online.
    The persons there are of no help and hackle us to pay more for the visit from ur side

    Moreover,the service request are closed by ur visting service partners just because I refused to pay the service charges.(Ref No.11016705)

    Moreover, Your nodal officer no is not picked up by anyone throughout the day.(phone no 033-44131303) which again is against the rules laid down in the Direct to Home Broadcasting Services (Standards of Quality of Service and Redressal of Grievances) Regulations, 2007 and 2009 issued by TRAI.

    Its been a mental torcher for me and my family for using your besieged services and I request you to reply back with appropriate answers ASAP.

    I similar request has also been forwarded to the Consumer forum under the consumer Protection Act.

    I request your to also refund back my money spent on your services( including the advance paid by me ) and take my the equipments provided by you, which agan is in violation of the Hire Purchase Agreement done with ur company

    Default hd+dvr not installed even after 14 days of having made the payment

    I applied for the Airtel Digitel TV HD + DVR two weeks back. I made payments over phone (airtel Customer Care agent had called me)
    It’s been 14 days since I requested for HD+DVR. Since then have called up 5 times and spoken to 5 different customer care agent but to no avail.

    I don't understand why take the money if you don't have the product.

    Sir me mayank sharma my registered phone number 9535456329 i purchased dth oct-10. First 1 month radio channel avilable in my conection but after complete first month the radio chanel was recived. Last december-10 i call to ur costumer care 100 times for brodcast the radio chanel but every times they told me that ur problem (radio channel) solved next time. Whenever i call to ur care every time they dont solved my problem but from december-10 to today not brodcast radio chanel. I warn u that if dont brodcast

    Hi, I am Sudip Sinha, a customer of Airtel Digital TV. My customer ID is 3007822495. I had recharged my Airtel Digital TV account between 25th. Aug. 2011 to 29th. Aug. 2011 with Rs.270/- & my next recharge date is 2nd. Oct. 2011. But till date I am getting a message on my tv screen that, "Your balance is low."
    When my Airtel Digital TV account balance is not low, why should I watch this message on my tv screen???
    This is very very irritating. I talked to Airtel Digital TV customer care (No. - 1800 102 8080) more than 20 times on this issue. But, they didn't do anything. Even they didn't listen my problem completely. I am very frustrated about this. If you don't do anything on this issue, I will have to change my DTH service.

    i am fade up with your service

    my connection again not working from last 2 days and there is no response from
    your customer care.

    Last month i paide 350/- charges to your Engg Mr. Shahid - 9768306337 without any receipt for replacement of part of digital dish on 30.08.11, after seven day facings the same error.

    kindly look into matter or sorry to say we have take any legal actions
    against this. i m going to talk to my lawyer for the same.

    I never thought airtel will give this type of hopeless service to the

    customer. I had face the issue of no signal on 22nd -August 2011.I

    lounge a compliant, first time a Lady Called Madhuri spoke to me and

    ask me Rs. 100 service charge, to solve the problem after our argument

    on that she left the call without any answer. Second call received by

    Mr Santosh on same day he inform that service Engg will solve the issue

    by 23.08.2011 at 7pm

    today we again called at your end and Mr Pankaj informed us that "your

    complaint was solve by telephonic support" and cut the line without any

    answer, But still i m not able to view any channal on my TV



    Totally I had raised 3 requests and with out my notice all the requests

    were closed with out the technician checked the issue. I had paid for

    all these days and I am really very sorry to say, you are not serving

    any service to us.



    If you people cant resolve the issue, kindly help me getting my money

    back so that I can approach to the other service provider who can

    respect the customer and provide the prompt response.
