Complaint against Reliance Big TV and M/s APPCO Marketing (India) Pvt Ltd
To whomsoever it may concern.

This is to inform you, that on 24/2/2011, one sales person (Mr Vishnu Vardhan Raj) approached me saying that he is from reliance big TV and there is offer in force as buy one get one if some of our documents match the criteria . I booked a reliance Big TV Digital from your representative Mr Vishnu Vardhan Raj (9666651419). he asked me to issue the crossed cheque of Rs.2980/- (for two Connections) . later I found the rate of one unit is 1390/-. and he gave me a receipt of the cheque which contains no stamp , he promised me that he fill the company name, and assured me that a engineer from Reliance Big TV will come within 6 days to fix the reliance BIG TV (DTH) connection, and he shall bring the receipt for the same.

The cheque was encashed from my bank on 03 Mar 2011 by some other agency called APPCO Marketing india pvt Ltd (Mumbai) and till date no one has come to fix the connection. I have tried to contact Mr Mr Vishnu Vardhan Raj on his mobile numbers but he is not picking up the phone.

I find out the account details of APPCO Marketing from my bank (ICICI), till the time i was not aware of this company, and when i tried to contact their office by tracing from website to confirm whether the sales representative was genuine , telephone attendent at their office behaved very slackly and always she tried to connect me to some false number where no body will attend the phone , she was not even ready to note my complaint and pass to concerned person. After so many tries she finally recognized my number and put it in auto transfer to a dummy number.

It appears that APPCO Martketing Ltd. is applying a fraudulent marketing strategy by recruiting local agents and training them in a false manner so by hook or crook sell the product telling any kind of lies and at the same time with out harming reliance fame , This is a biggest corporate fraud and it is very difficult to prove by the customer against such a big company reliance , Reliance big TV strategically planned a partnership with APPCO Marketing agency to sell their product and having no responsility to attend the customer problems,

Reliance big TV associated with APPCO Marketing Ltd. cheated me and i would anticipate a clarification from both companies failing which I shall lodge a PIL and complain to the police regarding APPCO Agents and also media for alerting the residents of the city. Besides this please note that since you have failed to supply me with the reliance Big TV connection in time, i hereby request you to refund my money within 7 days from the date of receipt of this e-mail, (complaint) failing which i shall shall be filling a written complaint against your company and your agency in the consumer court or any other court.

Copy of this e-mail complaint may please be forwarded to chairman of M/S Relaince Big TV, 2nd floor, A block, Reliance Communicationlimited, Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge city, Thane Belapur Road,Kopar Khairne, navi Mumbai - 400709.

This is continuation to my complaint against Reliance Big TV and APPCO Marketing PVT Ltd, dated 10 th Mar 2011.
In response to my complaint The reliance Big TV people brought two normal dish antennas to install at my place which is normally available in the market at Rs 700/- to 800/-
I have not accepted them as they are not as per specification promised by the sales representative Vishnu Vardhan Raj. (He promised me digital version which is launched recently and each cost at 2980 and in the scheme you got buy one get one free)
Next day Mr Vishnu Vardhan Raj Called me and accepted that he lied just to sell his product. As I can,t accept the low quality dish for that price I paid, and wanted to cancel my order, he requested me not to compliant again and promised me that he will get my money back.
After few days I got a call from the Appcomar office and they informed me that they are sending a cheque to me for the half the amount I paid and the balance will be paid by another cheque with in one month of the time. I received a cheque for Rs 1490/- with in next 10 days and I encashed it ( exact dates not available with me except cheque encash).surprisingly there is no written communication enclosed with that cheque.
After that I am still from last 3 months waiting for my balance payment so many time I called the Appcomar office in Mumabi.
I received so many calls from victims of Appcomar after positioning complaint in cosumer forum.
My bitter experience today on 26 Aug 2011 is when I call Appcomar office Mumbai on telephone no. 02242449900 to enquire about the my balance payment, usually the lady at the other end transferred to a dummy number and there is no response. I disconnect and call back again and insisted that lady to speak to me and asked not to transfer the call.
However she first time ready to listen to me and for my surprise she revealed that there thousands of people like you calling every day we can’t answer every body. I said there are lot of people in Hyderabad victims of your sales people and give me your local office address, we will resolve otherwise I will give police complaint.
In response She said let it be any number of people you cannot do any thing and we know how to manage you people.
I surprise how these people dare to do things like that and escape without responsibility. They are playing with peoples belief in humanity and truth, their belief is no body care for such kind of small money and people never unite by sparing their time , yes they are correct organizations like this making money out of our hard earning using these loopholes,
now this is not a matter of my balance money, I am leaving this for the business ethics of these two big coys to respond and give clarification for my suffering and mental agony caused by their irresponsible employees.
I thank consumer forum for taking action on earlier complaint and getting at least half the amount of my payment back.

Dear Sir/Madam,

APPCO MARKETING (I) PVT LTD organisation employee Mr.Ashish (Mobile No.8802337332) has come to my residence and explained the scheme of Reliance Big TV through APPCO Marketing (india) pvt ltd., Ghaziabad,U.P. and requested to pay Rs.2980 towards DTH activation/installation with in the same week. Offer are for those consumers whose cheque nos end with numbers like 11,13,... etc,On hearing this we have issued cheque(HDFC BANK Chq No 315121 Cleared on 07th Oct 2011 from my Account) to him. The executive not at all turned up and subsequently there is no response from him in telecon also,now the mobile is going switched off.
So kindly look into this matter and do favourably to me.
