    Angry complaint on reliance big tv DTH

    Hello.....
    My name is M.d kaleem
    I have taken, Reliance Big TV in the month of may date:20.(smart card no:200655045257) There is a problem with remote the remote is totaly not working form june 3rd.The same has been intimted to their call centre on 3th of june, they promised that an engineer would come and rectify the problem within 48 hours. Till date i have made 4 complaints number's (complaint no's : 128307695, 128619264, 128800231, 129011183 )and their engineer is yet to come... Reliance, which is present in almost all the business sectors, is offering such worst service... i am not at all happy with their service. As a pilot project, they have launched this only for the employees, if this is the kind of service they are offering to an employee, just imagine what will they offer to an unknown consumer...
    As i request you (consumer court ) to take action as early as possible...

    We checked with the regional team and have been updated that the non functional remote was replaced and also the issue related to STB was resolved which was also replaced. We hope it is as per your satisfaction, will look forward for your suggestions/ feedback in future.

    we r frm abids and our big tv was not working and it says signal lost...as we we did the troubleshooting.though we did this process couple of times it as it is says signal lost then we had to call customer care but they said it would be done within "48" hoursWE RECIEVED A COMPLAINT NUMBER AS 138697254.we r upset with this service how can we watch tv especially during the commonwealthgames...and even the climate over here is gud..thes not even rain or its not even a windy day.its just a clean climate since 3 days.but the other dth service companies need mostly 2 to 3 hrs...but this big tv says it need 48 hrs?and already 24 hrs has been finished.we hope u would take an action to this message and make ur service even better atleast not 48 hours.............yours hope fully

    Default Complaint about illegal deduction from my account

    My name is kk sasidharan and my account no. is 200707651032 On 26th october 2010 at 7pm, we were waching the prime time programs, there were a problem in the signal and a message about that shows on the tv and the connection had been lost. not even a single cloud in the sky. so that we made a telephonic complaint. after that we made a through check it is noticed that the dish connector had a loose contact. we made it clear. Thus the problem solved. after twodays we got a message that the account balance is too low to continuing the service. On contacting customercare they told that Rupees 125 is deducted for our complaint registration. not even a single work done . on complaining which they solved our problem and they regret for the mistake. But after two days the service disconnected for the same and we were asked to pay rupees 250 to be paid to continuing the service. afterall these illegal activities from you we paid the amount. another deduction of about rupees 125 also made from my account thus you cheated me twice for a mirage work. my telephone no is 9633543668 my mail id ksvivek.pdm@gmail.com .take this complaint as my notice if you not responding the same i may compel to go through the legal steps against you.

    Default Reliance Big TV : Extremely Poor Services & Fraudulant Practices

    Dear Sir,

    Complaint no 140616476, 140445966,14068711 and many more against Relance Big TV

    On 31st October 2010, I purchased 4 Month Package from Authorized Dealer and paid cash amount of Rs.1290 as per the demand.
    Since then I am continuously following-up for activation of account but still not active and no Response from Customer care as well as dealer on three complaints logged by me.My complaints are getting closed automatically without even attending or even a phone call to me. Very Strange and fraudulant practise.

    I am highly dis-satisfied with poor service and irresponsible behaviour of the Cutomer care representatives and would recommend everyone NOT TO BUY RELIANCE BIG TV. They are big frauds.

    Now I am throwing away this Dish & set Up Box and going for TATA Sky which is far better.

    Thumbs down Reliance Big TV Customer Service sucks !!

    I tried ordering, choice pay movie on my reliance big tv via sms like 4-5 times with repeated error saying, the service is currently busy. I then opted to order it through their toll free no. I did manage to purchase the movie but few mins later realized their system has selected some other movie instead of the one I had opted for.

    When called on the toll free no. again to change the movie, I was told by the executive the movie can not be replaced or the money can not be refunded either. Instead I will have to follow the whole process again and opt for the movie i wish to watch. But again no guarantee, their system will get it right. My call was then transferred to some senior executive in the company who was rude, manners-less and more importantly barely seem to be understanding english (had opted for english communication through their system). He repeatedly kept telling me its impossible, to do a refund. I mean, how stupid is that !! when you don't have a limit on accepting the payments then why limitations on refunding?? When asked for a name to register complain, he reverted with 3 different names (Salim Pathan was one of it, not sure if its the original one).

    This was my first knot with reliance big tv's interactive service, and must say it was really pathetic !! I am not going for any of their paid services from here on. Highly disappointing !!

    Dear Team,

    this is really ridiculous that a company like Reliance is giving such a bad services to consumers...my SC no. is 200771854547..i recently called customer care & one of executive Mr.Mangesh.came online i asked him what is my validitiy period as i want to know how my account functions once i recharge...instead of explaining me the procedure the man is saying that he cant give me the information as he dont know the process.i told him to give his seniors so that i can talk with him.& what i hearing is that man suddenly banged on the phone....

    My previous recharge was rs.303 dated 31/12/2010..i got a message on 28/01/2011 that i am having a balance of rs. 21.83 & is valid upto 29/01/2011.so i recharged my account with rs.600 & exactly on that time i called to customer care i am shocked to know my balance of rs.601...what a difference of rs.20 in just 20 seconds...



    i want the explanation of rs.20

    even i was willing to take 3 new reliance connections at month end...but i think my decision seems to be wrong...

    Default non receipt of all Big TV entertainment channels

    My customer no(smart card no)is 200793146984and my name is NC Joshi,based at Jaipur.I am having sufficient balance but suddenly all major entertainment channels have been disappeared since last few days and we are unable to see Sony.ZEE,Star,Color channels.We are getting all other News channels etc.
    Pl look into this and confirm how to get rid of this situation.

    i would kindly bring to your notice,that i raised complaint in the month of June 2011,but so far the complain has not solved instead i cheated with false claims.

    In the month of June 2011 i only asked to Reliance big TV customer care that, i was about to leave benguluru,for 6months,is my connection is stand by for such time,the person from customer care said the connection can be taken back and the 70% amount will be refunded.our bigtv technical persons will approach you following registered address will give the details & collect the instruments.the amount will be refunded through the cheque in 30 days,after submitting the instruments by technical department.

    on July 17th 2011,a 2 of Reliance Big TV representatives his name is Mr.Rishi,with no staff number,he came on bike HEROHONDA BIKE PASSION PLUS (Burgandy color)AP13 S 8640 to my registered address taken instruments for 2 connections stating that the amount of 70% will be refunded through cheque.the process will be completed in a month.but some reasons the transfer to Benguluru has canceled.

    After a month when i called to customer care a senior person Named JALAJA,said,to my surprise i heard,that there is no such concept of refund amount as per company policy.the instrument will be returned when the amount of Rs.258 is recharged for 2 connections.i did the same.but my instrument is not returned,& my recharged amount went into vain.

    i continuously follow up with the customer care with given request numbers.i only hear,,,,

    "sir we are transferring the issue to technical department,we are escalating the issue,your problem will be solved in 24 hours/48 hours/72hours bla..bla..new sense dialogues every time"

    request numbers is NOT KNOWN senior member JALAJA

    but so far no proper response given by any of the person.

    i was being cheated by RELIANCE BIG TV AUTHORITIES for their cruel thoughts in doing business,i lost my instruments,i lost my purchase price,i lost recharge for a month of 2 connections.

    i don't understand what big tv want to do with the people,when i saw a hell no. complaints on web which are similar to my issue.RELIANCE,being a large scale company with diversified business,no authority/channel/person to solve the issue.its really shameful to hear.

    At least after receiving this mail can i get any concerned officer/contact person/mail id to solve this issue,

    I have had reliance big tv connection since apr 2010 . Ther are no shops around to recharge the account. . They have entered my surname wrong into their system. when I want to charge through intenet banking the transaction is rejected because the surname does not match with the banks records. I have asked them to rectify the name in their records bit thye say cannot until you pay and activate the account. HOw can I pay if they cdo not change the surname to correct one?

    respected sir/madam,
    my name is g pradeep reddy from andhra pradesh anantapur and my smart card id is:200811904550 i am using this big tv past 2 years on wards and i have upgraded to hd setup box by paying 1000 rs and they said 1 year guarantee after 4 months it is not working and i went to shop where i purchased and after calling to reliance customer care of big tv they are saying to purchase new box. This is the way how they are cheating ordinary people sir please take necessary action.
