    Angry Complaint on Sundirect DTH Services

    Recently Sun Direct has moved to a new Satellite. When I switch on my TV, I am getting a message saying "We have moved to a new satellite. Hence your Dish needs to be retuned to the new satellite immediately. Service on this satellite will stop shortly. Our distributor/Dealer will do the Dish adjustment free of cost. To enjoy uninterrupted programs/Channels please contact your nearest dealer/distributor immediately."

    It’s been more than one and half month passed. Day by day the no. of channels I am viewing is reducing but every month Sun direct charging for the total channels. Apparently Sun direct charging for the services which are not actually provided to me. I am very frequently calling Sun direct customer care and complaining them to provide the full services. So far two service request has been raised to restore the services for me on priority. As per the customer care people my request has been transferred to the Technical department 15 days back. But nothing happened.

    Here I am loosing money in two ways.

    1. I am paying for the services which I am not getting from Sun direct
    2. I had to call Sun direct customer care very frequently to get the complete services.

    As this is the problem with service provider (Sun direct) why should customer suffer with that? They should have engaged adequate staff to restore the services. Otherwise they should not charge for the services which they are unable to provide.

    Since from last one month Sun direct mentally tortured me a lot. My family is also suffering a lot due to this. I have no patience to wait. I request you to kindly do the needful.

    I'm facing the similar situation for more than two months now. I call them even 3 days, and everytime they say they will attend in a day or two. But so far no use. I called both the local distributor and sundirect. No use. Most disgusting of any services I've so far. No of channels have reduced after the problem in first satellite. Even from those which were coming, few channels are being removed everyweek. From 15 days or so, we are getting only Gemini Tv and few news channels. Planning to move over to another dish.

    Sun Direct (DTH) is the worst service provider in the world & stop using Sun DTH immediately to prevent the further victims of SUN DTH.....I dont want to explain the reason why? becz all the customers are facing the same problem.........any one in the hell will have enough resources to provide the services before changing the satellite direction.........bloody shit channel....pls cascade this to as many as possible....

    Hi,
    am also facing similar issue... am being waiting more then 3 month and the technical person called me and said your not only our customer we have 3 lakhs customer in karnata.So it will take time.

    I dont know how many day will it take, but when i am getting connection it totally different they came in a hours time and installed.

    Better stop using go for other DTH service.

    Am also facing the same issue ...poor response from service department...
    when ever i call to 08040397575 i am getting message that number not in use...
    This shows how they are cheating their customer

    Default complaint regarding sundurect dtc service

    i have paid the sundirect DTC, but from 1 month am not getting a single chenel..i conplained to their comstmer care number many times. every time they are sayi g that we have forwarded your complain and our technician will come and resolve your problem. but till date no one has come. i am gineing some complaint nos that have registered from my side to them

    Default Do not go for SunDirect DTH connection and do not become victim like us

    Its been 3 months no progress. I lost more than Rs.200 in calling customer care but its of no use. In addition recently they have deducted Rs.160 from my account. When I inquired about this came to know that the amount has been deducted for the channels I am viewing. Since from last few weeks I am seeing blank screen on my TV. Its really pathetic. Sundirect charging for the services which it is not providing to the customers.

    I would appreciate if any one from us take the initiative to file a case in consumer court against Sundirect. The other can contribute to that.

    Your thoughts are welcome.

    Default Do not go with Sun DTH

    Dear friends,

    I am a customer of Sun DTH since 19.02.2008. My customer details are as follows:

    Customer Id: CR-0429329

    Settop Box Number: H07470094541

    My set top box gone faulty in November '10. I have lodged complaint to the customer care of Sun DTH twice with complaint IDs 1362885034 & 1471165700. As there was no response from customer care, I have complained twice about the non-response of customer care thro' online enquiry form on Sun DTH web page.

    After all my above attempts, I wrote a mail to the nodal officer of Sun DTH - Andhra Pradesh on 19.01.11 with some hope that he will take necessary action to resolve my issue. As there was no response from him also, I have forwarded the same mail to all india nodal officers of Sun DTH on 22.01.11, requesting to wake up the customer care.

    As on today (30.01.11), my problem is still un-attended by the customer care. Therefore, it is very well understood that Sun DTH are concentrating their services upto promotion only, not after sales services.

    I am hereby informing all my friends who are thinking about taking Sun DTH connection, to go with any other DTH services.

    Question Complain

    My smart card no.is 41414578215.I am from Assam.my SD dth service often shows some channel as currently scrambled even after recharge.For example from yesterday some of my channel like DD National,DD Bangla,News Live shows currently scrambled after my rechage of Rs.500 on 20.10.2011.please solve my problem.my ph no.is 9864086242.
