Hi,

I bought an airtel dth from airtel.in website on 27th Dec 2011 by paying Rs. 1590 using my credit card (cust id: 3009610614, order id: 905312, transaction id: 1227579954).

After 1 hour, I received a confirmation call from airtel and they said dth will be get installed on 28th Dec 2011 at 4.00 PM. I haven't received any update after that. So I called them on 29th Dec and they said it will be get installed on 29th. Installation is not happened on 29th also.

From 30th Dec to till 3rd Jan 2012, I call the customer care atleast 3 times a day and every time they say that they will look in to this and give me back a call to update on this.

On January 2nd I asked them to refund the money and strictly said I don't need the airtel dth, customer care executive said that give us one more chance. If it is not getting installed on the same day, they will refund the money. so I thought ok, let me try for last time (even though I didn't have much hope)

Installation is not happned on 2nd and I waited till 1.00 PM on 3rd January. Nothing is happened. So I called the customer care again to ask for the refund, they repeated the same word. But this time I decided so I told them if they don't refund the money i will go to consumer court.

So finally they agreed for the refund and I am waiting for that. I don't know whether they will refund the money on committed time period or cheat me again.

when I spoke to my friend regarding this, he said he is also a victim of airtel dth. For him it took one and half month to install the dth. So never buy the airtel dth though their site or customer care. You will be cheated .
