FINAL REMINDER
This is the final notice as you have failed to make any response as promised in your below mentioned mail on 12.06.2010.
Now the matter will be dealt with proper legal action against you for cheating.
REMINDER - I
Dear Airtel DTH TV
This has reference to your advertisement over my mobile number 9004024326 offering DTH connection for Rs 999. I had opted for the connection and called your number 12148. The process was over within 15 minutes and the payment was made through my mobile on 08.05.2010. The transaction ID no was given as 8677812 and assured that within couple of days the connection will be installed.
Exactly two days after, the connection was at my place and could NOT install due technical problems. I called your helpline and told that they try once again. Even after lapse of 15 days - NO ONE has come to my place or called me.
I started asking everybody on your list of SO CALLED CUSTOMER CARE NOS and every time I was told some reason for not resolving my issues. I called your call centre on 9th of this month at around 2000hrs. I talked to your officers on the call - Pankaj, Swapnil and Mohammed. They have given me some toll free nos and every time I called there was waiting in the line and finally expressing their inability to solve the issue.
In all the above cases, I had asked for simple refund of my money only which is legally due to me. I had sent e-mail on the matter earlier also but as usual NO ANSWER till date.
It is already more than a month. Today also I called your helpline 02040181400 and I was asked to dial 12150. I dialled 12150 and the call reference nos are 701510448 & 701517390. But the net result is "STILL I AM NOT ABLE TO GET THE REPLY FROM AIRTEL"
I had enough of you. I will never call your service centres for anything.
Through this mail I am notifying you that -
1. You are keeping my money illegally with you.
2. I have already invested enough time and money to talk to you over telephone.
3. I am suffering from the feeling that I HAVE BEEN CHEATED.
4. I had removed my existing TV connection in the anticipation of getting your DTH and the present cable operator is denying re-connection.
5. I am now searching for other connections to save my family from being devoid of entertainment.
6. I have been subjected to harassment and not able to view FIFA WORLD CUP FOOTBALL IN MY HOME.
All the above factors are just a result of your negligence towards the money taken from me and NOT OFFERING ANY SERVICES. I have lost my mental cool talking to worthless helpline people.
Now legally I am entitled for all the compensations including -
1. Returning MY MONEY with intrest from the date of my payment to date you refund =Rs 999+Interest.
2. Compensation for harassment while calling your helpline = Rs. 10,000.
3. Compensation towards time and money invested for talking to your helpline = Rs. 10,000.
4. Loss of peace due the feeling of BEING CHEATED = Rs.10,000.
5. Not able to view FIFA WORLD CUP FOOTBALL IN MY HOME = Rs. 25,000.
If you are not compensating me for all the above, I will be taking legal action on you for cheating me financially and breach of trust. All the expenses for legal counsels, court proceedings, documentations etc will be recovered from you in addition to above compensation.
I will be waiting for you till 21.06.2010 for settling all the above without any conditions otherwise I will be commencing the proceedings at Court of Law immediately after 21.06.2010.
You should treat this as the notice before going to Consumer Forum.
