    Default Pathetic service and customer care for Airtel DTH

    I am fed up with the Airtel DTH customer care.

    They just refuse to do the re-installation of my DTH connection for last 6
    days. Finally after breaking my head against the wall they did the
    re-installation today .

    will also register a complaint in the Consumer Court against Airtel DTH. I
    spoke to the manager(Lokesh) yesterday and he said work will be done.

    He gave me number of the enterprise in Whitefield. When I called that number he
    said that's not my job.

    Rubbish service quality. My DTH was de-installed 4 days and now nobody wants to
    come for re-installation.


    Great news is that i am still not able to see most of the channels. I am only
    getting some regional channels..

    Your service engineer told me that other channels will come in 10 minutes. Its
    been 6 hours and I still do not get the channels.
    Next day i tried to call the same technician who installed the set box at my place.. he says i will not come.. When i said i will complain, he says do whatever you want to do, nothing will happen.


    I want to disconnect the Airtel DTH connection and from now on I would strongly
    advise my friends and relatives not go to for Airtel.

    Advise strongly against Airtel DTH. Dont go by the Airtel name. they have outsourced DTH service.. u will realize the problem during installation, relocation or any service you would require...

    Default No service at all

    For certain technical problem My STB has been displaying SM2 error msgs. I have been unble to enjoy TV programme from 17.11.2011 till now . I contacted Customer care executives for several times to restore the services . Every person i met over phone had different views and suggested me to do certain menu operation with the STB settings but in futile, then ( as usual ! ) he assures me that one service Engineer will arrive my place and will do the needful to restore service . Finally last evening once contacted one executive( disclosed his name as SUDHIR) assuered ( / guaranted ) me to do the needful to restore my services by 5-30 p.m today. Till now No S.Exe visited my place nor contacted me. I am in dillemna now what to do ? Where should i Contact ? Is this the way of providing services to customer from a house (Brand )like Airtel.

    I agree.. Had similar expereinces with the customer care. Everytime you reach, you need to repeat your issues. There is no mechanism to capture capture customer quesries. They act like a dumb Operators, I regret my decision to take Airtel DTH... Strongly advice not to even think of them for any connecitons.
