    Default Poor Service of SUN DIRECT

    Myself Mr. Sashidhar Bangera, having Sun Direct Smart Card No.41056034576. I had a very bad experience with the Sun Direct Service. Three months back there was a problem in my setop box, which has been rectified by the Sun Direct after 1 & half month that too only on my direct visit to the distributor. I had paid Rs.350/- for the replaced box as per their demand. I was not able to see all the channels even after the replacement and on complaining, it was informed that all the channels will be viewed after dish alignment. My dish alignment has been made on 03/09/10 and after that also I was not able to see all channels. On complaining, both the Customer Care people and the distributor told that the channels will be viewed one by one automatically, which did not happened.
    I had lodged my first complaint on 25/09/10 having No. 1-644202952 and second on 01/10/10 having no. 1-685353587, for which there was no response. Once again I had called up Customer Care on 07/10/10 and had a talk will the Senior person, who informed me that, as the Setop Box No. haven't been swapped by the distributor I am not able to see all channels and had been given the complaint no for the same i.e. 1-738723696. Accordingly I had contacted my Distributor "Padmavati Distributors", Kalyan, they informed that the Swapped of setop box doesn't make any difference and informed me that he will send a technician for the same.
    Today i.e. on 11/10/10 the technician came (after 20 days from my first complaint). On examine, he informed me that first thing the dish alignment made on 03/09/10 as not proper and secondly there is a problem in the setop box. Saying this he had left and informed me that he will be contacting me on reaching his office.
    The setop box has been changed by the distributor 60-65 days back and I was not able to view all the channels from that date till date. Now also the problem has not been solved and kept lingering.

    Default the worst service of sun direct

    i have a sundirect has the smart card no.41156569778, i have booked a complaint on 21st october, they said that they will send their technecian within 24 to 48 hours, but so far they did not send anybody, though i called several times to the customer care that people not responded properly and they provided very worst service.

    Default These guys are cheats - Hope they are put behind bars

    SunDirect guys are cheats. They take your money and ensure that it does not work for you. Firstly, they talk about distributors and gave me some Jains number who abused me because he was not one! When connecting, they send technician directly. When it comes to service, they give false complaint numbers and dont take action. It has stopped working for a month now and I have all the complaint numbers and CC executives number. This is cheating in a clever form as they need to reimburse those days for which it did not work, but they wont do. We all know who runs this business and it is high time, Centre looked at their activities in TN and other places and initiate criminal proceedings

    Default Poor Service from Sun Direct

    I am a Sun direct customer and due to the Satellite change of Sundirect service they have disconnected many channels with out realigning my dish to new satallite in the beginning of Nov-2010. I have given a complaint a month back for alignment of my dish and with out doing the same the complaint has been closed. After that I have contacted Sundirect help line number many times and I always get the same reply " our technician will come in few days" but till date no one has turned up and I have not receive any call also from Sundirect.

    On 24-11-10 again I called and I have spoken to Mr. Rakesh, customer service person and asked him to transfer to the Cutomer service manager and he has denied to do the same by saying that no escalations is required and the technical team will give a call back in 3 hours. But till today haven't received any call from Sun Direct.

    I have written mail to their nodal manager also on Nov-26 and put 3 reminders till date but no response so far. Now my connection is totally dead form 2nd Dec onwards and I don't know now where to complaint.

    Be careful while opting for a Sun Direct DTH connection.

    Default Worst srvice and third class behaviour

    I got SUN direct connection 5 months backs but till date it is not working and not in operation, the agent Manjunatha Enterprises when reported uses abuse and indecent
    language and tells Karananidhi the CM with him. all rowdyism and not providing service.

    Thumbs down SunDirect Organization is full of Frouds

    Please if any body are going to purchase Setup box from sun direct then read these then decide:

    1. Instantly unavialable recharge coupen
    2. No help incase of problem
    3. Irritating response from the customer care
    4. Not having good technical team to support the customers
    5. What they show in Ads all is bogus(they will collect additional charges of around Rs.1600)
    6. Big group of cheaters, becareful innocent people

    Sub :- No response from any side for smart card no 41134462351. from the day of installation.

    Respected Sir,
    I would like to say that I purchased your sun direct but I am unable to watch STAR NEWS from the day of installation. I contacted distributor, customer care but got no result. Sir, Jain electronics in kaimganj did software up gradation & alignment of my dish on payment basis only which was a actually free to be given by company as mentioned on my TV screen. At that time also I was unable to watch Star News channel. Sir, when ever I ask your dealer for Star News than they always insist to get the connection change as they can not do any help in this regard. At the time of installation, I have to arrange one small T.V. & also few meters for electric wire so that it can be taken on third floor for proper signal strength check, your technician has got no meter to check signal strength. Sir on 18/02/2011 I did my recharge of Rs.1800 for one year in my account & requested for World Cup + IPL pack. But some other pack was added to my account, I requested your distributor of my area but he did no help & even wasted my time also. Sir, I contacted Mr. Narendra but no help from him, any how Mr. Anoop did some help to me. My T.V. started after 60hrs of my recharge. Sir, I did few mails to nodalup@sundirect.in but no reply to me. But still problem persists, I was unable to watch star news channel & service is currently scrambled on few channels. Sir, on 01/03/2011 I was unable to watch any channel on my T.V., I contacted distributor, Ali Amir but he was helpless. Sir, I contacted Mr. Anoop Mehrotra (ASM) but only assurance he gave to me. Sir, I called customer care on 02/03/2011 Mr. Arun misbehaved with me, I informed next customer care executive Mr. Dharmendra singh to write a complaint of Mr. Arun but he refused, I again contacted Mr. Subhash Customer care executive he disconnected my call. Sir, I did a recording of all three executives and also did a mail to nodal officer but no response from your side.
    Sir, now I contacted Mr. Vivek Batra ( RM) but he gave only few assurance but no positive work. Sir, technician visited my residence on 04/03/2011 at 06:35 PM without any meter, he did something in DTH and said that your DTH needs to be replaced as one screw is broken, Sir, still Star News is unavailable. Sir, after few minutes I was unable to watch any Hindi channel on My T.V., I contacted each & every person whom I know but I was surprised to know that MALYALAM PACK was activated from your side. Now, still the same problem, We are unable to watch channels of ours pack as we subscribed for Hindi pack. Sir, How my pack was changed this is mystery to me.
    Sir, I asked many officers of your company to return my recharge amount as I am being tortured mentally, financially, physically by your employees. Sir, they refused that they can not help in this regard. Sir, they also refused to provide Fax No. of head office, email address of head office and even any higher authority.
    Sir, many of customers of our area has discontinued your service and shifted to any other company. Sir, I request you to look into this matter, kindly return my amount which I gave as recharge for one year. Sir, what action is taken on misbehavior towards customer care executives on their misbehaviors’ towards me.
    Sir, your poor service towards me makes me to feel that what a general customer has to face after purchasing your sun direct connection. Kindly make a call on my below mobile number.

    Sub : resolution my problem - reg
    I T. Vivek Babu , patamata, Vijayawada, your DTH service customer, on the date of 13/04/11 i have reported that my set top box is showing an error "e32 smart card failure" and i have contacted the customer care department and they registered a complaint with id : 25921655 , there was no response from sun, after my call on 15/04/11 one engineer came to my house and told that the set top box has a problem. And asked me handover it to his distributor M/S Sigma enterprises , vja. After handing over the settop box I intimated your customer care department the very same they replied to me that it’s not my part to hand over and the engineer will take care of it. And they asked me to contact the distributor for any query’s reg the repair of set top box. And this pretty little distributor has employed some really smart guys who are very harsh when we call them and literally use very filthy language for my phone calls (really I should appreciate SUN Direct for appointing such distributors)
    Till to day my problem was not resolved and I did not get my settop box back, when ever I call your customer care I can hear the same old story that it will be done at the earliest possible. When is this time going to come god knows. I have lost nearly 20days of my viewership and I could not understand what’s customer care.
    Your Nodal officer number never works and they do not even listen to what we are saying and they put of their phones. Why is this guy appointed in your company as a nodal officer I do not understand, and you have really appointed good distributers who maintain rowdy sheeters to trash people coming to their office.
    My final request to you is if you people cannot maintain service, you should not come into service sector and play with people’s money, a couple of months ago there is a same problem with your satellite change. And the loss was never reimbursed.
    If you can resolve this issue please reply “Yes” if not “NO” , and refund my installation charges, deposit, recharge, un viewed airtime money also.

    Default sun dicrect poor scustomer service

    Our sun direct ID (41405749957) is not working since last two days. It is shown as 'no signal'. I have already send a complaint in the official website of sundirect, but not responded so far. It was purchased from marappalam, Thiruvananthapuram. I have also contacted them, but no reponse. Please take urgent steps to solve the problem. our mobile no is 9633757133
