Myself Mr. Sashidhar Bangera, having Sun Direct Smart Card No.41056034576. I had a very bad experience with the Sun Direct Service. Three months back there was a problem in my setop box, which has been rectified by the Sun Direct after 1 & half month that too only on my direct visit to the distributor. I had paid Rs.350/- for the replaced box as per their demand. I was not able to see all the channels even after the replacement and on complaining, it was informed that all the channels will be viewed after dish alignment. My dish alignment has been made on 03/09/10 and after that also I was not able to see all channels. On complaining, both the Customer Care people and the distributor told that the channels will be viewed one by one automatically, which did not happened.
I had lodged my first complaint on 25/09/10 having No. 1-644202952 and second on 01/10/10 having no. 1-685353587, for which there was no response. Once again I had called up Customer Care on 07/10/10 and had a talk will the Senior person, who informed me that, as the Setop Box No. haven't been swapped by the distributor I am not able to see all channels and had been given the complaint no for the same i.e. 1-738723696. Accordingly I had contacted my Distributor "Padmavati Distributors", Kalyan, they informed that the Swapped of setop box doesn't make any difference and informed me that he will send a technician for the same.
Today i.e. on 11/10/10 the technician came (after 20 days from my first complaint). On examine, he informed me that first thing the dish alignment made on 03/09/10 as not proper and secondly there is a problem in the setop box. Saying this he had left and informed me that he will be contacting me on reaching his office.
The setop box has been changed by the distributor 60-65 days back and I was not able to view all the channels from that date till date. Now also the problem has not been solved and kept lingering.
