    Angry Reliance Big TV and M/s APPCO Marketing (India) Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I wish to inform you that I was approached by a sales representative representing the direct buisness associate of Relaince Big TV on 19 September 2010. He came from M/s APPCO Marketing (India) Pvt Ltd.

    His Name is Mr Prem Kumar( Mobile:-9392262598) & he informed me the following:-

    a) He told that Big TV is offering special price for special customers. The special customer should satisfies either of two case: Either he should be a reliance mobile customer for the past three years or else he should be having a cheque leaf ending with 10or 31.
    b) If the customer satifies either of these condition, he would receive reliance Big Tv connection worth Rs 5490 for just Rs 1575. In addition to that one would receive 3 month free gold pack subscription.
    c) When asked to show the list of channels available, he said he dont have the list with him & that one would be receiving entire set of channels except Cartoon Network & HBO. d) In addition to that he told after 3 month one would need to pay just Rs 125 to get the entire list of channels.
    e) He repetetively told us that we would receive more channels than Hathway(Which I was using earlier,charge just Rs100 & used to get most of the channels),by just paying Rs25extra.

    Unfortunately, I had SBI Cheque leaf ending with 10 (I am repenting for it now!!!) & subscribed for reliance Big Tv. They installed the set of box within one week as mentioned & i was pretty happy with timely work done.

    A day later when i opened Big Tv to find the list of channel they offer, to my surprise I was not getting the list of Sport & Music Channel( which the sales person promised would be more than what Hathway offers). When i browsed net i got to know that the set of box installed in my house was worth Rs 990 only & the gold Pack charge was Rs 248. It was a rude shock for me.

    From that day onwards i started calling Mr Prem Kumar (Sale Person) who never bothered to lift my call & Big Tv Customer Care. Every time I make a to call the customer care, I need to explain my grievance two times. An operator would receive the call & then he would transfer the call to supervisor. The supervisor would in turn ask for 24-48 hr time to resolve the issue & later would close the issue with out even confirming from the customer.

    I called customer care on 2 October & had a talk with Ms Lavanya. After listening to my complaints, she promised me that the issue would be resolved within 2 days. In addition to that she told "the sales person would call back with in 2 days & that they have lodged a complaint against APPCO for providing false information". My complain no is 138051090.

    I didn't receive any call from them, so I called them on 4th Oct afternoon to know the status of my issue. They assured me that the complaint is in resolving state & would be done by next 24 hr. I waited patiently for there call to come & the issue to be resolved, to my surprise i got a message that the issue is closed on 6th Oct.

    I called the customer care on 7th Oct & had a talk with Mr Naveen (Technical Dept Incharge). He assured me again that the issue would be resolved in 48 hr & an complaint has been logded against APPCO Sales Person. I was given a new complaint no :- 2000302938. Again no one turned up.

    I called them today(10th Oct morning & requested them to connect either to Ms Lavanya or Mr Naveen (to whom i have explained the issue). They didnt do it & in turn connected to Ms Anusha. She asked me to call at around 12 & that she would conect my call to Floor Manager. I called them up at 12:30 only to know that, Manager are in meeting( Every time i asked them to connect my call to manager,some or the other excuse would come). This Time I had a talk to Ms Naseem (Supervisor). She gave me a new complaint no :- 138551674 & told my issue would be resolved in next 24hr, which is most unlikly to occur.

    I never dreamt that a company like Reliance, which is the icon of India makes money by providing false information. Big Tv AD states that "It's time to think Big" , but i am sorry to say there thoughts are very cheap.

    May I request you to initiate action against Big TV and APPCO Marketing (India) Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad. at the earliest.

    To whomsoever it may concern


    This is to inform you, that on 28/10/2010, I booked a reliance Big TV (DTH) from your representative Ms Pallavi Garg). She asked me to issue the cheque of Rs.1390/- in favor of your authorised booking agency i.e. M/S APPCO Marketing (India) pvt.ltd. She did not issue any receipt of the cheque, but assured me that a engineer from Reliance Big TV will come within 6 days to fix the reliance BIG TV (DTH) connection, and he shall bring the receipt for the same.
    The cheque was encashed from my bank on 1/11/2010 by your agency and till date no one has come to fix the connection. I have tried to contact Pavan Kumar and Pallavi Garg on their mobile numbers but his phones were not attended.

    It appears that your company in convenience with your agency have cheated me and i shall report the matter to the police and media. Besides this please note that since you have failed to supply me with the reliance Big TV connection in time, i hereby request you to refund my money within 7 days from the date of receipt of this e-mail, (complaint) failing which i shall shall be filling a written complaint against your company and your agency in the consumer court or any other court.
    Copy of this e-mail complaint may please be forwarded to chairman of M/S Relaince Big TV, 2nd floor, A block, Reliance Communicationlimited, Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge city, Thane Belapur Road,Kopar Khairne, navi Mumbai - 400709.

    ..Hi,
    Ur co is such a reputed company & growing day by day.
    But ur name is being tarnished by ur sister company APPCO Marketing I
    pune.
    I was surprised to see so many complaints on internet which show they
    are either involved in CHEATING business or somebody totally useless is
    heading the company here.
    When so many complaints are on internet & u are also not aware means u
    are responsible for this bungling to some extent.
    My request is to read seriously what is being written on internet &
    take immediate action to check this rot& refund money of persons
    aggrieved with interest.
    I paid Rs.1490 to m/s Appco marketing rep ms POOJA vide hdfc bank cq no
    87289 on 12 th SEP 2010.Inspite of 50 complaint calls I did not get my
    BIG TV installed. Then ms POOJA just swiched off her phone no
    9860377716 permanently.I had to purchase other companies DISH after 2
    months black out of TV viewing of my family.
    Then I searched internet for address of the company & could not find it
    but saw ur website.
    Hope u’ll get me back my money or I’ll have to take legal action.

    Default Appco fraud

    Hi,

    on 8th jan 2011 i was visited by an agent of APPCO pvt ltd regarding RELIANCE BIG TV connection. he said that if some criteria were met then i wud get a big tv connection for just 1490/- with 6 months subscription free. he checked the last digits of my cheque book and said that i fulfilled the criteria and offered me the connection. i was doubtful but convinced because he took only cheque and no cash and assured the connection within 5 working days. i gave a cheque and it was encashed on 13th jan 2011. but no connection was given till 16th. i did not have any contact no in the receipt he gave. i searched the net and got mumbai number. when contacted she said it will be given in 3 days but nothing happened till 21st. again i called back( calling them was most irritating u have to tell the same problem to 2-3 people and they keep u on hold for minutes together), so i demanded a refund.

    she luckily agreed and i got a cheque on 24th. hope it doesnt bounce after i deposit tomorrow 25th.

    some strict action has to be taken against APPCO and RELIANCE BIG TV for causing such an inconvenience to me

    This is to inform you, that on 06/03/2011, I booked a reliance Big TV (DTH) DVR from your representative who told me that their team from Hydrabad has come for marketing. He asked me to issue the cheque of Rs.3990/- in favor of your authorised booking agency i.e. M/S APPCO Marketing (India) pvt.ltd. He did not issue any receipt of the cheque, but assured me that a engineer from Reliance Big TV will come within 10 days to fix the reliance BIG TV (DTH) connection, and he shall bring the receipt for the same.
    The cheque was encashed from my bank BY your agency and till date no one has come to fix the connection. I contacted your Mr. Pawan ((Ph. - 09311346270) on 21/03/2011 who assured me that the connection will be done by 23/03/2003.
    But no one turned up for the connection. And since then the phone of Mr. Pawan is always switched off.
    I also contacted Mr Aurangam (Ph.- 08125159513) who assured me that the connection will be done on 28/03/2011. But again no one turned up for the connection. Now Mr. Aurangam is also not picking up the phone.

    It appears that your company in convenience with your agency have cheated me and i shall report the matter to the police and media.     This is to inform you, that on 14/03/201, I booked a reliance Big TV (DTH) from your representative Mr G. Naveen. H asked me to issue the cheque of Rs.3990/- in favor of your authorised booking agency i.e. M/S APPCO Marketing (India) pvt.ltd. He has issued a small receipt for the cheque, but assured me that a engineer from Reliance Big TV will come within 4 working days to fix the reliance BIG TV (DTH) connection with special features instrument..
    The cheque was encashed from my bank on 18/03/2011 by your agency and till date no one has come to fix the connection. I have contacted 040-65353963 hyderabad office several times, the office people informaed that due shortage of Cables (Should come from Japan) this delay is taking place. Before 7th April 2011 connection will be given. Till data nobody has come for installation and not even responding on phone. All phones are not working (0-9030724863, 040-65353963, 09291351654).

    It appears that your company in convenience with your agency have cheated me and i shall report the matter to the police and media.     This is to inform you, that on 26/03/2011, I booked a reliance Big TV (DTH) from your representative Mr Pawan & Narender mobiled no. 9573456999 & 9866758538 respectively. they asked me to issue the cheque of Rs.2980/- in favor of your authorised booking agency i.e. M/S APPCO Marketing (India) pvt.ltd. they has issued a small receipt for the cheque, but assured me that a engineer from Reliance Big TV will come within 4-5 working days to fix the reliance BIG TV (DTH) connection with special features instrument..
    The cheque was encashed from my bank on 28/03/2011 by your agency and till date no one has come to fix the connection. I have contacted Mr.Pawan & narendra but Pawan's mobile is switch off all time and mobile of Narendra is wrong which is going to another person . Till date nobody has come for installation and not even responding on phone.

    It appears that your company is cheating to customers ,why not a case should be filled against you. If within 7 days my payment will not refunded then ,I will register FIR and register a case in court.

    I have paid an amount of Rs.3990.00 vide cheque no. 331106 dt. 17/03/2011 of Syndicate Bank/Somajiguda Branch, Hyderabad towards one Reliance Digital TV HD DVR connection through APPCO Marketing (I) Pvt ltd. Your representative Mr G Koteshwar Rao (Mobile No. 7893293135) had promised to have it installed within seven days. As the cheque mentioned above has already been debited to our account on 23rd March, it is already more than 20 days since the cheque was handed over to your representative and the system is not yet installed at my house.

    Kindly look into the matter and see that the DVR is installed immediately.

    I purchased bigtv at month of October 13 from one of representative(Mr manikanta)8688089049 of Appco Group India
    And i gave my cheqfor2980 (2 connections) and after that they are not respoinding in phone and they are not install the DTH till this date
    please take action on appco group india

    Default Cheating by APPCO Group & Reliance BIG TV

    Friends,

    I have been cheated by APPCO group marketing executives. They sold me a BIG TV package worth 2590/- 15 days back and nobody turned up to install the dish. All my calls to their office went invain as no body is taking any call.

    Can somebody tell me their Hyderabad office address? I am planning to raise FIR and PIL against that company for cheating people.

    I wish to inform you that I was approached by a sales representative representing the direct buisness associate of Relaince Big TV on 1st September 2011. He came from M/s APPCO Marketing (India) Pvt Ltd.

    His Name is Mr V Sreenivas( Mobile:- 9949306166) & he informed me the following:-

    a) He told that Big TV is offering special price for special customers and compelled me to take reliance Big Tv connection worth Rs 1759 (Valu Sports pack). In addition to that one would receive 6 month Value Sports pack subscription.
    After three months i got a message to recharge and i was surprised to see that message as i was promised free Value Sports pack subscriptionsub for 6 months..

    I called customer care on 7th Dec& had a talk with then and surprisingly they said i was opted for Diamond pack where i need to pay 298 monthly from that day to recharge BIG TV. After listening to my complaints, they promised me that the issue would be resolved within 2 days and they have given complaint# 167365354 .After 48 hrs i called back to have an update on my complaint and they said complaint is closed with out actioning on my issueand very recklessly they say it is not there headache and they notnot do any thing on this.

    Before i took this connection i used to enjoy Local cable with 150rs montly unlimited channels. These guys came to house and forced me to take this connection and now they are not responding to my queries.

    I request every one not to take Reliance Big TV comnnection and don't entertain APPCO marketing team.

    May I request you to initiate action against Big TV and APPCO Marketing (India) Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad. at the earliest.

    Thumbs down Reliance big tv a big fraud

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I wish to inform you that I was contacted by one Marketing Executive Mr Sinivas, mobile No. 9848396131 of Appco Marketing (I) Pvt Ltd ( the marketeers of Reliance Big TV) at one of my customer’s place on 27th Jan’ 2012, and he offered Reliance Big TV Digital Televersion and told that it is more advanced than HD Set Top Box and for promotion, they are offering to three customers @ Rs 1590/- and if I take the connection immediately, I would be one of them.
    a) He told that Big TV is offering special price for special customers. The special customer should satisfies either of two condition. Either he should be a reliance customer or else he should be having a cheque leaf ending with 10 or 31.

    b) If the customer satifies either of these condition, he would receive reliance Big Tv connection worth Rs 7990 for just Rs 1590. In addition to that I would receive 2 month free Platinum Pack subscription.

    c) In addition to that he told after 2 months I would need to pay just Rs 171/- to get all channels and if I pay for 10 months, I will be getting 2 months free.

    d) He repeatedly told me that this is more advanced than HD and would be better than HATHWAY which I am using right now.

    Unfortunately, I had an SBI Cheque leaf ending with 10 and now I am repenting for it & subscribed for reliance Big Tv Digital Televersion.

    They sent the set top box within one week but to my surprise it was an ordinary digital set top box when I checked with the engineer, he told to speak to the marketing executive, when I contacted him, he said, yes this is the advanced Digital Televersion box ( It will be black and also has a USB port), I told him this is ordinary digital set top box and it is not mentioned anywhere that this is Digital Televersion, and if you want to sell this to me, then I am not interested, you cancel it and refund my amount, he told he will speak with his seniors and will get back to me. I have not given the Installation Engineer Copy or Rs 100/- which I was supposed to do after receiving the set top box. The Engineer told me that he will come the next day and will take the Installation Copy, ID proof , Residence Proof and money after sorting this issue.

    The Next day i.e on 9th Feb, I received a SMS “Welcoming me to the Reliance Digital TV’ and from then I am trying to contact their customer care which is filled with people who are not able to provide any kind of service and asking me to go to their nearest Reliance Digital TV outlet who will sort out this issue. On 11th Feb’ 2012 I received a call from Reliance Local Office and they asked me if I want to cancel this. I asked them to Cancel and refund my money at the earliest. But after that I have not received any SMS stating that my account has been cancelled. When contacted customer care, my account is active. I am asking to give me the complaint No., which also they were not able to give. On 17th Feb’ 2012, one Mr Syed from customer care told that this issue will be sorted out in 24 hrs and he gave me a Complaint No. 172714380, within 15 minutes, I received an SMS stating that complaint has been closed.
    I am having the Digital Set Top Box without connection, just occupying little space and my money.

    This way they are just degrading the brand “RELIANCE”.

    May I request you to initiate action against Big TV and APPCO Marketing (India) Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad at the earliest.
