I have been a Tata Sky customer since last year or so and have booked upgradation to Tata Sky + on Tuesday (01.7.10) and did the payment online. And my booking ID was 1-7023538527. I was told then by the customer care that it will get installed in 24 to 48 hours. And no body contacted me from Tata Sky ever after 48 hours of booking. Now it has been almost a week since i have booked the same, and i have not seen any sort of response from Tata Sky regarding this. Infact, it is me who has been calling them every now and then for the installation. This is very low class service from Tata Sky and that to for their exisiting customers and i don't know what they are doing with their new customers.

No complaint attended since its installation in spite of contacting n complaining. 5. Till date every official of tata sky simply give another telephone no, but no solution has been given yet . i have contacted almost 10 officials on diff telephone no.s , but no solution in been provided. Sir / Madam,
This is with reference to the abysmal and extremely poor service provided by Tata Sky every time I have put in a request. The latest instance is when I booked an HD Set-Top Box on the 29th of July, 2010. Till date (12 days later), I have not received the hardware nor are any of your executives/managers on the Helpline able to tell me when it will be delivered. Every single person who has spoken with me from Tata Sky has been unable to provide a time-line for the same. Under the circumstances, and if the hardware is not installed, delivered at my residence tomorrow, 11-08-10, I am proceeding with legal action on account of deficiency in service causing immense mental agony to me and my family. Just for your information, here are a few more instances of the dishonesty of Tata Sky, represented by its personnel. 1. At the time of purchase of the Set-Top Box in September-October 2008, the engineer (!) who came to install the same went back with the dish and the cable which we were entitled to, saying that since there already was one on the roof, we did not require it. It so happened that the cable and the dish pre-existing belonged to the earlier occupants of the house. The unscrupulous chaps even told us that if we relocated to any other house/city, Tata Sky would provide the dish antenna and cables free of cost. We believed them. 2. In May-June, 2009, I requested for relocation to another address and this time the personnel were even ruder. When, after they had misbehaved with my elderly mother-in-law, I lodged a complaint, someone created an email ID, purportedly in my name, writing a commendatory letter. I would never have come to know of such duplicity, but for a call from Tata Sky verifying my email ID and the so-called ‘letter of commendation’. I don’t know what action, if any, was taken against those persons. 3. Now, when I have shifted to another house from 01st August, on 29-07-10, I put in two requests – a) An additional set-top box, since I wanted two points on the same ID. I was convinced by your company’s glib-talkers that the hardware would be delivered on Sunday, 01st August, and hence, I paid for it. b) To relocate the connection at my new address. For this I had again to make numerous calls, in turn shouting and cajoling your personnel, before finally the job was done at 7:30 p.m. Every time I request a service from Tata Sky, I have to spend money on phone calls, time which could be fruitfully utilized otherwise and in lieu of all this, I only gather a lot more tension. Tata Sky has tested my patience no end. Needless to say, each one of these incidents narrated above, has resulted in immense mental pressure on me and my family and I do intend to take the legal route now, so that more customers like me are not befooled by such dishonest companies like yours. Dear customer care people, Don't you think It's shame on you people who waste your time just by throwing that cosmetic smile as an when new costumer approaches you as new buyer.After that the services you are supposed to provide seems like giving a big -big favour to the customer by the company
I have been a customer for past 2 years.As and I had problem with my tata sky connection I approached the costumer car for help.It never happened that they contacted us. We only had to litterly request them to sort out the problem.03 months back there was a problem with my set top box.which,as they say repaired nicely/properly,same day only the same went off road since it was an old stuff lying with them.It was replaced after 2-3 days stating that this will work properly since then I am facing the following problems:- 1. Very poor picture quality. 2. Being disconnected many times while running and doesn't come for long time,it comes for a while and goes off for long. 3. contacting customer care is a costly affair because of long waiting period. 4. No complaint attended 35 days since its re-installation after repair in spite of contacting n complaining. 5. Till date every official of tata sky simply give another telephone no, but no solution has been given yet . i have contacted almost 10 officials on different telephone no.s , but no solution in been provided.today at Tata Sky repair service represent was so rude even mention that I can give complaint to anyone. I had the box installed todate 26 Aug which I purchased online. Till today, everything went smooth as far as payment online was concerned. However, when Mr mahesh came to installed, he started dictating terms and conditions as we have made a mistake by purchasing it online and we should have purchased thru the local dealer. Probably he was not happy as why we did not contacted locally.
secondly,he was behaving as he was least bothered and his reply to our question used to be ASK CUSTOMERCARE.... Thirdly, I had purchased complete mega plan which when he installed was not giving all channels as the balance sum in the card as told to me and also as sms to me was zero and I needed to pay for the subscribing the channels. SOMEBODY HELP AND GIVE ME CUSTOMERCARE EMAIL so that I can file a complaint about the representative and the servix=ces |

This pertains to the Tata Sky Complaint Number: 17501825436 where in I have been getting no signal since 1 month. Everytime the engineer comes after the complain after 3 days and replaces the box only to get spoiled again.
I have been requesting the customer service of tata sky to cancel the same and refund me the money of the entire years subscrioption that I have paid them but they have not reverted yet on the same. Seek your help/cooperation on sorting this. |

Monthly rental charges have been considered for 21 days and I have not changed the plans since last month. Can I get clarifications regarding the charges I have charged. My present due is shown as 21/ 09/ 2010 even after paying an amount of Rs. 275/- on 30/ 08/ 2010 and my earlier balance was shown as Rs. 24/- which is not reflecting anywhere.

Tatasky DTH India - I am subscriber of Tatasky DTH India for last 2 years and i am facing problem with no signal issue and unable to watch TV. I have tried to contact with tech support but they are not receiving call. I have received call form Tatasky and they asked asked for Rs 350 charge for visits only.
Tatasky DTH India has Worst Tech Support team. So i am planning to discontinue services. Jitendra Singh 9873174986 |

Subscriber Id:1031549031 This is to bring to your notice on the pathetic service by Tata Sky. The once reputated and principled company has come down to cheating and swindling customer like me for their survival. I am on an annual package with them. Their services is so poor that the screen goes blank frequently. i am not able to get in touch with them by any means to ask them to rectify my services which i have already paid for. Their 24X7 call center no. is a joke. it should be rather called a paid Tata ad center no. because you never get any one on line even after waiting for 55 minutes. They do not have a national toll free no which can be accessed by all Indian telephone service providers. Hence the 55 minutes of call (STD) is charged to me unnecessarily. Second your services are not rectified immediately it takes at least 48 hours for them. Hence they should be paying back the amount to us on prorata basis for the time i have not been receiving the services till the time their services are up. In addition they should also reimburse the telephone expense spent on their 24x7 customer service center. Praveen |

I have been lodging complaint with tata sky since 25 Sep for not receiving services. Complaint references are - SR2509100398205, SR2809100400418, SR2709100399813, SR2909100401050. Apart from this I have called up them on telephone also. But nothing has been done by the company till date. Customer ID - 1033605369

my name is maj sandeep manhas, i take thisopportunityto put up a complaint regarding tatsky reloc deduction fm my acct without informing me. noexecutivehas come to my loc for anything. complaint was made that one of my 2 setup boxes was not functional somewhere on 10 sep 10. i put up a complaint for the same. i was told some one would call up within 48 hrs . a call comes up after 6 days and i hardly spoke to the per. i told him i do not want any change.that was on 18 sep and on 22 oct after 34 days the deduction . someone is trying to fraud . i hope tatasky maintains some balances to check whether the executives do go or no. pls look into the matter. i would not like to switch over my dth to other service id 1014147019 regards sandeep manhas |

I Vikas I Daga, have sent a SMS "BO 9619480398 382481" on 30.10.10 @ 8.50 AM to 56633.
I received an instant auto generated SMS telling that TSR will call me back within 4 working hours to take my details for installation. Since then i have not received any call/msg. Further, I have called ur customer care no. 022 6000 6633 six times details of which are as follows 1st Call: 12.30 PM on 300.10: to tell i have not received any call though 4 hours have past. Your representative assured me that you will received call within 4 hours. No service request was lodged by your representative. 2nd Call: 03.53 PM on 300.10: to tell again that yet i have not received any call to take my details for installation. Your representative taken by LG LCD no. and given me my service request and told you will received call within 4 hours now. 3rd Call: 9.00 PM on 300.10 to lodge complaint that i have not received any call. your representative now taken my address details and provided me Subscription ID and told your installation will be done by 12 Noon tomorrow (means 3110.10 12:00 Noon). 4th Call: 02:00 PM on 31.10.10 to ask whether there is anyone at your centre to help me out. At that time your representative told in blunt manner that yet 24 hours has not over from your booking of subscription Id. wait for 24 hours your installation will be done. 5th Call: 10.00 PM on 31.10.10 to ask whether now 24 hours has been completed but this time also they told it will done on Monday. 6th Call: 11.00 AM on 01.11.10 to ask what is going on why TATA SKY are not willing to install the DTH at my home. No satisfactory reply received. Please note that above all calls i have made. Not a single call has been received from your side. I have spent nearly Rs. 150/- in making STD calls that too in Roaming and not got even a single satisfactory answer. Please tell me whether I am eligible to get Tata Sky installed at my home or directly i should tear that Card. After this mail now I am confident that no action will be taken from your side. But with just a hope that still some body is there to listen the customer i m writing this long mail. tata id 1041322387 j n sahu 2nd connection not done for 10 days your berhampur office service is very poor pl rectify for several days i am making frantic calls to your helpline nos but no use. please think how to rejuvinate your service machinery. people like us who have taken tata sky have to rethink twice as to continue or not

I have purchase LG tv with which they said I will be getting tata sky for which I need to send SMS as
BO <moblie No> <Area code> and SMS to 56633 and I have tried as BO 9032778377 500008 and sms to 56633 but the replay I received as "please check the mobile number and area code". I tried same for several times and from with different mobiles with different area code but every time the result is same. Please suggest |

I have logged relocation request on 31/10/2010, followed up to 10 days and finally scraped my dish setup and decided to go with alternate vendor.
Customer care representatives including senior executives and field staff, all of them are simply infuriating and can not believe TATA group can have such a low performing representatives. Helpdesk staff do not understand complaints and are trained just to read standard quotes something such as "anything else that I can help you, Sir!" ....Aare yaar ek request to thik se le lo baad mein sochate hai aur aap kya seva kar sakate hai.... Height of all was, I got a call on 12th day and guy over the phone asking me " Sir, aap ka kuch (no signal?) complaint hai na? " Lo kallo baat..esko pata hi nahi ki DISH re-install karna hai tab ja ke shayad signal aayega. Can you believe there could be such a mess and unprofessional folks and you will have to face them again and again and waste your time. Hence I choose best solution and decided to go with other vendor who is atleast able to communicate in a better way and and knows value of time and commitment. |

I am a Customer of Tata Sky since 2006. My customer ID is 1004992184. Everything was going good untill last month.
I faced problem of signal receiving on my set-top box. The message displayed that the set-top box is not receiving the signal. I logged the complain with Tata Sky - Customer Service. They assured that the service engineer will visit us within 24 hrs. But after 3 days, I got a call from some guy who I certainly can not say being an Engineer. Any way, he came and changed the set-top box. I was charged Rs. 350.00 for this job. Actual problem starts after that. After some time, I again faced the same problem of signals. Again I logged the complaint and got the set-top box changed. This time, this set top box was not responding to remot. Again I logged a complaint. Again the set top box got changed and the next day itself, the went fully blank. It is not getting the power. Means, in almost 30 days, I have got 4 set top box changed. Is this is the quality of the set-top box provided by the Tata sky. I checked with some other sources. Then I came to know that the set-top box for which I paid Rs. 350 was not seal packed. It was an old second hand box which was pickedup from some other place with complaint. It was repaired and installed to my house. And every time the set top box was changed, it was not new. Every time it was second hand repaired set top box. Since last 30 days, I have not been able to see the TV programs properly. I had been charged the member ship charge as per my package for this period also. My complaint is if I am not given the service, why should I pay? also, if I am being cheated by the employees of Tata sky, I feel they should be paying for this. With my this experience, I would like to address through you daily, to all consumers who have suffered such problem and have not taken any action against the defaulters. Please come forward and take necessary action so that in future nobody else faces such problem. Sir, it is my humble request to you that please give a bold letters request to all your readers to come forward and file a complaint with the Consumer forums and give a lesson to the defaulters. And no body contacted me from Tata Sky ever after 10 days of booking. Now it has been almost a week + since i have booked the same, and i have not seen any sort of response from Tata Sky regarding this. I applied for the TATA SKY DTH connection online on 13th Nov 2010 & the customer support personal took the order online using my credit card and promised me that someone you give you a call next day for the installation. He told that usually it takes 3 working days but I will make sure the connection would be done soon. On14th when I called up twice - once I was told that you can expect a call by 5.40 evening. Next I was told that it takes 3 working days. I waited for some time and then I gave a call again sometime on 17th and then came there best person on the customer care. After discussions, I was told to call after sometime and we will connect you to our superior. When I asked them that I am ready to hold the line, I was told that they cannot keep the line busy for me for long time. Finally after much insistence he put me on hold and after some he disconnected the connection. I called up again and asked for the order to be cancelled. The new guy cancelled my order and told that my money would be returned in 10 working days. With the experience that I got, I was not sure if the order was really cancelled. I called up again that this time I was told that someone would call you for cancellation. But was offered that the insatallation can be done in another 24 hrs and since I was interested in the interactive services that TATA had, I decided to take a chance. However same story again, I was told in next call I made that someone would get back to me in 2 hours. Nobody came back. Another attempt from my side and someone called that it would fixed in 2-3 working days. Nothing happened again. No calls...... I again called and asked the man to cancel now and give me the cancellation details. He was not providing the same and told that someone would arrange to call back in 4 hours to cancel the service. Again No calls..... >> Throughout the conversations in calls, I felt guilty about me being the customer. >> TATA SKY was more happy to cancel the order rather than work out with a concrete plan. i have registered a compaint with tata sky for no signal - the tech. comes and without even checking, says i am 100% sure that there is a problem with your internal wiring, on presurising he conects the wire directly to set top box - still shows no signal - says the whole wire is at fault and needs to be changed and i do not look after wires another person will come and change, no responce after that.
after calling again and registering one more complaint - which they said would be addressed in 3 days - no solution has been provided even on the 6th day saying that the it has been rescheduled, again and again. it has been going on for 15 days now...even the nodal officer, whose number is there on thier web site, does not pick up the phone please suggest is there a way to register a complaint in court or do i have to simply disconnect and switch to another connection aadeshonline@gmail.com |

I have made on line payment for tat sky on 22.11.2010 for rs 400/- my account was deducted in sbi account but the people co called customer service support told me that their browser was down and the amount will be credited in my account within 12-14 days and asked me to recharge again. On 23.11.2010 i have recharged again for rs 200 and my amount was deducted.but my account was not credited with tata sky. They told that it will take time. I informed then that i want to get my connection disconnected immedeatly. As they are cheating public. Rs 600 got deducted through my sbi account and my tataskly connection lies deactivated since 2 days.

i am a TATA Sky Customer and recently 1 half month back i had taken connection. since 10 days i have not getting singnal errors every day. as per this i called to customer care and i have given complaint in "my tata sky". evey time they called to me and said that "our customer service executive will call back to you". But they have not been attending for repair. customer care purpose i spent Rs.28/- for calls. one they give one service executive no. 9248301360. every time he is not lifting the phone. incase lift phone, he is saying please call to our customer care. " TATA Sky is worrest customer service in India. they don't know how to keep existed customers. they are spending money only for adds with costly heros. they are not spending money for customer support". my id is 1054950405. Local Cable operatators are better than This worrest people. |
