I am an existing subscriber of TataSky (Sub ID - 1015601766), living in Mumbai. I placed an order for TataSky-HD on 19th June 2010, over the phone (020-66006633) & also made a payment of Rs.2599 through my credit-card.
Mr. Mayur, who took the order, assured me that the new digicomp will be delivered & installed within 48 hrs.
On 22nd June 2010, I called the customer-care & registered a complaint that the digicomp hasnt been delivered. I was told that it will be done within 3 hrs.
In the evening, I spoke to Mr. Gyaneshwar, a senior executive of TataSky, who assured me that it will be done the next day.
On 23rd June 2010, I received a Standard digicomp (Non-HD), after which I again called the customer care & informed them. I was told that the digicomp will be replaced & installed within 24 hrs.
After that, until now, I have not received any call from TataSky. Its been over a week since I made the payment.
Is this how Tata-Sky cheats innocent people?
I request the Consumer-Court to please take some action against this company for openly cheating consumers.
