Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Prashant Sharma from gurgaon puched a videocon d2h on (17 march 2010). On 17 July 2010 I was recharged my videocon d2h account and the current balance in my videocon d2h account is Rs 2000 approx. On 18 july my videocon d2h remote is damage and I was regirtered a complaint against this on the customer care (18001023111) they told me it will be resolve in 24 hours and i got the SMS from videocon d2h regadring the same with my complaint number but nothing is happen again and again i was regestring the complaint on the customer care the same responce they will gave me ....24 hours it will resolve but nothing is happen till date my last complaint was registered on videocon d2h (27 july 2010) regarding the disconnection of my videocon d2h now still they are not doing the diconnection. I am very fed up of this videocon d2h service please take some strick action on them. I am very thankful to you. It is my heartly request to you. I am giving you my all complaint numbers which is registered with videocon d2h. Compalint numbers-> 15564080, 15563862, 15694109, 15737909, 15792559, 158854236, 15978052, 15976804). My name is Rajendra J Shah. MY custmer id is: 8778456. My contact no:9428502331. I have taken one d2h connection from you. We bought this connection from Mr. Vishal. his contact no. is: 9974031851. He told that we would be having this connection free of cost for 5 months. Instead of this our connection waas disconnected within 4 months only. In between this, I once sent an sms for the movie channel to watch movie De Dhana Dhan. My 50 rupees was deducted. But then also i couldn't watch movie on that channel. I also complaint for it on the same day but i got no response from you...! My some 150-175 rupees are deducted for because your person is saying that they are charged for the cable.....! But no extra cable is used here....! Now, your executives are charging different-different charges and misguiding me. My account balance is in negative. Last but not least: In ahmedabad, whenever there is rainfall, our connection gets disconnected. We were not able to watch channel since last one week. I called your customer care at 29 august, i had a conversation with Mr. Dipesh. But he also not responded me and after that i made a conversation with the head, Mr. Harshad. But he also didn't respond.....! I am now tired of your lethargic and fraud work...! SO i am filing complaint in consumer-forum. U have cheated me....! In our neighbours, all are having connection of Tata Dish TV. But your person Mr. Vishal told that Videocon is the cheapest and the Best...! So we chose it. But now we are repenting for it....! SO just give the solution to my problems. You contact me at my new number: 09825060805. Solve my problems and queries, otherwise i want to disconnect Videocon forever.....! I have purchased VIdeocon D2H connection in May, 2010. When I purchased the connection, the distributor given a recarge coupon worth Rs. 300/- on payment. I have used this coupon for two and half months. After that I received SMS to recharge the connection within 3 days otherwise, connection will be suspended. I have purchased one recharge coupon from their authorised dealer and went home. After arrived at home, I have scratched the card and called customer care. When I submit my PIN number of the coupon, they said, this number already used. I asked the guy may times, who used this card and which connection renewed, but he did not answer. I could not believe, becuase I myself scratched this coupon and also I am living at my home alone. I complained the dealer, but he says, it is usually happening with D2H, so you buy a new one to recharge. I request the public, what answer I have to give the dealer and what the way the videocon taken to cheat public. In the light of the above factor, I request the public, don't buy D2H connection and tell the people who you know about this cheating. |

This is in regard to the fraudulent cases going up in Koraput district Semliguda town. The concerned distributors of Videocon D2H dish tv are trying to act so cheap by black marketing the recharge coupons of this concern. I just wanted to bring this to concerned authorities so that they will try to take necessary action. regards, Sunil To Videocon D2H Why is such a big concern unable to keep up its reputation? Its losing its reputation by giving dealerships tosuch cheap concerns who are ready to use the name of the company for just 10 to 20 Rs. In orissa Koraput district Simliguda town the concerned dealers are selling recharge coupons for 10 or 20 Rs more than what the company is offering. This might be an advantage for the seller but not for the company as it will loose its reputation in the public. Please try to take some good action to rectify this problem. I have purchased Videocon d2h in January 10 at that time there was a offer for 4 months free subscription, after 4 months i recharged for 1 year, when my d2h get recharged immedeatly i was getting the Technical error problems evry after half n hour i complaint so many time at their customer care but 6 months have been passed but problem is still the same , now when i request to disconnect the same than i received the SMS that MR Bishant Chaudhery your problem will be resolved with 24-48 hours where as my name is Vishant Chaudhary , than i call to customer care again to change my name so that after disonnection i will get the balane amount DD on correct name that they are saying that you have to contact to your dealer from whom you purchased the D2H for name change whereas that dealer have leaved his shoppe , so you are requested to kindly lookup into the matteer regards' Visahnt Chaudhary 9876226592 D2H customer ID is 3519804 |

I purchased a D2h connection of videocon with their DVD player on 12.08.2010 from a local deal M/s. Srijithtronics.
My customer ID is 19638228. At the time of purchase, i was informed that the package comes with a subscription for six months. Eventhough I registered for Telugu and malayalam as regional channels, I was given only tamil and Kannada. On contacting the service numbers, I managed to get it changed after 3 days. Today, I get a call from someone - calling no. is 011203079000 and informed that the package was only for one month and that the last date for payment has also expired. When informed about the six month subscription, he asks me to contact the service number. On doing so another young man says he is sorry about it and that the package is only for one month. When I ask him to connect me to his superior, he merely disconnects the phone. I have been surely taken for a ride! It surely hurts to know that!! All I want to know is by whom - the dealer? or Videocon? When they could contact me to tell me that validity of my subscription expired, could they not contact me in advance so that I would have my remedies with the dealer? They could have sent a message that appears on the TV as DishTV does. As many other have brought out, the channels are off the air the moment it rains. So was the case with my DishTV connection. Is there no regulator to whom I could complain and ensure that many others like me are not fooled? Are there any legal remedies in this case? Kindly advise |

I have purchased my d2h connection in Apr-2010, since then many times it has lost its signals. It automatically get disturbed keeping some channels working & some out of siganl & gives a message to subscribe those channels.The channels which are kept working are normally local/language channels & for other routine channels like star plus, zee tv, colors it shows the message of subscription. It has become the part of its daily functioning. Sometimes it comes to mind to throw it out.

I purchased videocon satelite dvd in nov 2009 and now it is oct 2010 from the very first day the set is not working properly ,It was having high contrast problem they put a resistance of 45 ohm in the d2h card then a mixing band in dvd started the serviceman says that videocon is not compatible with LG Tv ,earlier i was having dish tv connection it was working perfactly normal ,i launched a complaint on very next day of instalation the engineer visited my house about 4 times now but could not resolve the problem earlier d2h cust. care was saing that they will give me the waiver till i dont get my problem resolved after 2 months of free i tried to laounch a complaint then they said first recharge the connection only then complaint will b laounched i recharged rs 500 then no one came to repair the set i decided to keep the set aside and continued with my old dish tv then a call came from retention dept. promising me to resolve the problem i recharged rs 50 and comlaint was again launched but no resolution i m fed up with d2h

Now,when i start my set up box, it become off within 2-3 minutes.when i contact to shopkeeper from where i bought it,he told that to contact customer care at Mumbai. When i contact to customer care, he told me that problem will be rectified within 12 hrs.(complaint no.-20115850).next day ur representative have come at home and asked to pay 250/- for problem rectification, when i asked about it to customer care, he denied to give payment for this problem.when i asked to shopkeeper, he suggest to register complaint in court. after that on dated 12-10-10 one call have come from customer care & told that ur problem will be rectified upto 5:00 P.M. but problem has not solved till today i.e,13-10-10. Kindly take appropriate action. I'll be grateful to you for this Thanking you........ |

I bought videocon d2h on Aug 10, 2010. I am a south customer from karnataka. We are getting Cartoon network and Pogo in Hindi language only. The dealer did not inform about this problem before buying. . Customer care said english option is not available. Kids in our house are used to watching Cartoon network and Pogo in english only. Now, the kids are not able to watch in Hindi, so we have to buy another dth connection spending more money again.
So, please dont buy videocon d2h, because Cartoon network and Pogo are available in Hindi only. Also, videocon d2h setop box 1011 hangs frequently. When it hangs, we get only audio and black screen with only d2h logo at bottom. This prob is not solved if we power off the setop box via remote. We have to physically switch off power to the setop box and restart it to get back video. After a few hours same problem occurs again. |

I am Swati Paranjape, from Borivali Mumbai. Videocon d2h company is pure cheat and fraudsters. I purchased it on 8th July: Customer ID 14335638. I got diamond pack free as promotional offer. After it got over I was not intimated by them to recharge. I was not given clear information about the recharge by company or the dealer. It got disconnected on 6th Nov2010.I was told by the dealer that I can not change the plan without doing a top up recharge as my balance is negative. So I recharged it with Rs 50/- as I wanted to recharge yearly. As my request to change the plan was not processed I enquired at their BPO I was told that again my balance is negative so now again I have to recharge so that my balance is positive then only request will be processed and then only if I again pay for Rs 1650/ I will get yearly benefits. BPO employees do not bother to address the complains. They just give you your complain no for fun, but do not act on it. My DVD set was faulty, so with lot of efforts I made them come to change it. But these fraudsters had got old used DVD to replace, which I returned back. Till date there is no action on that issue too. They cheat the consumers with their money making tactics, as showing account balance negative all the time. so they get top up recharge money. For disconnections they do not require any working hours deadline, but to address the requests and complains it is never ending 24 to 48 hours time limit given. i am sandeep and i am from akola maharashtra .my customer id 2357191 . i bought d2h connection in dec 2009 thinking its a good brand. i bought satellite dvd 5002 which is a defected model. all 5002 are defected models . they have too much contrast which is eye hurting.at first we did not understand this problem. i had 29'' tv. then after some days our eyes started hurting. we thought its our old old which has a problem. we sold it and then bought 42'' plasma thinking we will get good picture after this . but it was shock .it was white wash.picture was getting complete white . just too much eye hurting contrast. i called customer care and he taught me how to set contrast in my tv. he was thinking that i am some kind of fool.he registered complaint and assured me that issue will be resolved in 24 hours. no one came. i registered complaint again.but d2h servicemen r too busy to come. someone called from d2h service center to tell that engineer (who r illiterate ) can not come for 2 days.she also told me that its my tv problem. how foolish i was? it was pain full 8 months from d2h. videocon as a branded company when knowing fact that 5002 dvd has a dangerous level of contrast should have done repair without waiting for complaint. its a known defect. watching tv brings tears in our eyes . service is too poor .serviceman does not come in one complaint., we have to call for five times. I HAVE LOST FAITH IN VIDEOCON . my customer id 2357191. please do something if u can or else i will have to switch to other dth connection. |

i have purchased the videocon d2h pack from the nearest store on 13th november.... i hv called customer care many times to get them aware for the installation....it s 20th nov. bt no engineer has reached my home for the installation of videocon d2h.....i wish my promblem would be get solved by tomorrow...

I had purchased on 22nd October 2010. Today I went to the dealer to puchase 2nd connection in my bedroom, he asked that you are opting to add second dish or add connection on the same dish for your same room, there will be no differnence in rate for purchase of the second connection.

I saw the advertisement for the channel 10cricket in d2h. I paid Rs. 300 to the agent for 10 month subscription. I wanted to watch India-S. Africa test matches. The first test is long over. I am not getting the channel yet. I complained to the agent. He asked me to call customer care. I called. They asked me to enter my ID. I did. Phone was disconnected. I tried several times. The same story. Now the second Test is going to be over. You have taken my money, have not yet given me the service. Is Videocom too one of the bogus companies that thrive on cheating? This is Mallikarjuna, I took D2H Videocon connection it is one of the worst service, plz dont go for this. Initially they said for south pack 150 RS will get 200 channels. Out of 200 we wil get 150 nonsense channels. Whenever you try to call for customer care, it's always busy. To connect the line you need to try atleast half an hour. After getting the line also you will not get the solution for your query. |

I m resident of Chandigarh and i m using this videocon d2h service from 1 year.According to my exp. in have never seen this much WORST service in my whole life. Even coustmer care dont know about their product properly.Their server dont get updated for many-many days.Even they dont write the complaints and they keep on telling the coustmer to call after 1 or 2 hours.Some time i feel even how can a big star like ABHISHEK BACHAN can promot such a third class thing.feel sorry for him too.So the bottom line is dont go for this product and tell others also Sandeep Sharma 09914033420 D2H customer ID is 4496147 |

Videocon can never become a trust worthy company, the d2h offered by the distributor is a clear exhibition of Sell and forget. Number of channels are assured only to make the sale, and once the system is installed in your house, the dealer is never a support. You are left alone to decide to either recharge and continue or simply throw away the entire system. You are put to the most unprofessional so called "customer support " which is an also run Call centre named Genesys Software, and the people exhibit literal rude attitude, that you feel below your dignity to be associated with Videocon. There is no non-refundable agreement that is signed and they are liable to refund if a customer does not like the product, or is given the wrongly committed product. I wish and pray that a day arise that Videocon sales crash down and is closed for ever. Only to save other customers from being taken for a ride by this company.
Though the company is liable to refund the money if the customer is not satisfied / has been given the wrong product, they care a damn for the customer. THIS IS CRIMINAL and SHOULD BE BANNED. |

Cust Id 34270337. I am using d2h service since 2nd feb 2011 under "4months free Golden Sports Pack subscrition". I was made to pay Rs 500 on 11/5/2011. Yet my services are stopped from 2/7/2011.
My mails to your customer care on 28th Jun, 2nd July & mail to Mr Ranade on 2nd July on mail add cusomercare@d2h .com in which all details are submitted, remain unreplied till this date & time, of this mail. Please note that I have paid subscription. If my services are not restored by 9A.M. on 4th July I may be forced to claim damages. Sharad Tambe |
