Sub. : Complaint regarding inaction for wall mounting & demo of Videocon 32” LCD D2H despite repeated follow-ups – request for redressal of grievance – reg. –

With reference to above, I wish to bring to your kind notice the following facts and request for redressal of my grievance at the earliest.

I had made the request for wall mounting and demo of Videocon 32” LCD D2H on customer care 1800 1023111, details of which are as under :-

about 09.00 p.m. A female Executive (I don’t remember her name) I requested for wall mounting and demo of product Videocon 32” LCD d2h, giving all the relevant details such as Registration No., Voucher No. & Sr.No. of 2 vouchers of Rs.300/- each. I was given Customer Id No.21555170 and assured that within 24 – 36 hours, the needful will be done. No output

14.09.2010 Late evening hour A female Executive (I don’t remember her name) I was assured that within 24 hours, the person would visit my home and the wall mounting would be done and demo would be given. No output

15.09.2010 A male Executive I was given to understand that my product has not been added in the records of the company as my call for registration of the product had got disconnected in between. Accordingly, on his request, I gave all the requisite details again and I was assured that within 24 hours the problem would be resolved and I shall be getting a call from the company and the needful would be done. No output

09.30 p.m. (call duration 09.06 minutes) Don’t remember The same thing was repeated again by this Executive as on 15.09.2010. Again, I gave the desired details and I was assured that within 24 hours the problem would be resolved and I shall be getting a call from the company and the needful would be done. A female Executive from Escalation Department, the call was deliberately disconnected by her. Problem lies there only.

10.39 p.m. Ms.Smita Again, I called and gave the desired details and the Executive assured that within 24 hours the problem would be resolved and I shall be getting a call from the company and the needful would be done. No output

11.55 a.m. [call duration 21.15 minutes] Don’t remember I was given the stereotype reply that my product has not been added and the details were again asked from me. But no result so far. No output

(Call duration 24.58 minutes) Mr.Vikas of Escalation Department My call was transferred to Mr.Vikas of Escalation Department, he assured me that I would be receiving a call within a few hours. But neither do have I received any call nor any person from Service Centre has called me up so far for wall mounting and demo of the product. No output

09.35 a.m. (Call duration 20 minutes) Mr.Prithviraj
Escalation Department My call was transferred to Mr.Prithviraj of Escalation Department. He said, he is the seniormost person there and he assured that I would be receiving a call from the company and accordingly the problem would be resolved very soon. However, no action so far. No output

04.26 p.m. Don’t know I was holding the call for about 10 minutes while it was being transferred to the Escalation Department. The call got disconnected at 04.37 p.m. after holding the call for 11 minutes. No output

04.38 p.m. Mr.Vikas I was holding the call for about 10 minutes while it was being transferred to the Escalation Department. The call got disconnected after holding the call for 15 minutes. No output

04.53 p.m. Mr.Bhushan Mr.Bhushan assured me that I shall be getting a call from the company very soon on my cellphone No.9323793229, but so far no action has been taken by the company. The call again got disconnected while I held the line for about 25 minutes when he told me that the line is being transferred to Escalation Department. No output

05.32 p.m. Mr.Mandal I again narrated all the relevant details and requested for transferring my call to the Escalation Department and held the line for about 16 minutes. No output

Escalation Department Again I requested for transferring the call to Nodal Officer and waited for 15 minutes.

I again gave all the relevant details to Mr.Amit. He said to me that he shall mail my request to IT Department. The call again disconnected. No output

From the above details, it can be very well be concluded that there is utter failure and negligence on the part of the company and my grievance has not been redressed so far, which is really a sorry state of affairs so far as such a reputed brand like Videocon D2H is concerned. It amounts to deficiency of services on the part of Videocon D2H.

In these circumstances, I sent the complaint cum legal notice via e-mail to the following email ids of the company;

But so far no action has been done.

I, therefore, pray for redressal of my grievance.
