The video and audio signals are getting struck always and I could not even see any video/audio sometimes (message says 'no signal'). I have filed a complaint one and a half months back in Airtel customer care. I did not get any response from airtel for long time. I have tried speaking to customer care so many times. Finally some engineer called 'Manjunath' visited the place on 17-7-2011. He just collected 100 rupess as visiting fee and went off without even fixing the problem. Without that fee, he was not even ready to look at the issue first.. It is really really bad from a customer point of view. I am really frustrated with following things..

1. I do not know where I can really talk to some one about this bad process and tell my frustration. The escalation department in customer care number is the worst one for this. Whenever I call they always promise that it would get resolved next day, but nobody shows up there. So it is just waste of time.
2. If I ask the escalation department to connect to some higher level manager they simply put me on hold for long time and finally disconnect the line as well.
3. They gave a mobile number of a person (called Arun) in nodal office number, it is even worse he is not even picking up the phone.
4. The engineer visited the place does not even know English, very tough to communicate and I am very doubtful whether he has any knowledge on fixing the problems. When I call him regarding the issue, he does not even respond properly. He is just disconnecting the line.

It is not the first time I am facing this problem. I have filed a similar complaint around 8-9 months back [could not remember the date correctly]. I had to fight a lot for that to get closed.

In summary, a customer does not know where to finally go and complaint about these worst services. Everyone in Airtel office is very confident that no one can do any damage for his job even if he does not do his job properly. Nobody is taking the responsibility for faults but customers are affected by this. Probably the best step to stimulate this is filing a case in consumer court, but I have to spend sometime to do this [but not a tough one to do as I already know the processes]. If nothing else is going to happen, that is the only way to go.....

I was really happy when I was using Tata sky, it was the best service. If I file a complaint it is closed in 24 hours, no escape from that complaint.
