Hi,

I had booked a PG(paying guest) for twin sharing for 2 persons in Vashi, Navi Mumbai on 16th Jan 2011 by paying 2000 rs. I had informed the owner that we would be moving in on 30th Jan 2011.

Now, due to some circumstances, we have cancelled moving in, in to that PG room. Now the owner says, the amount will not be refunded. I have the receipt of the payment of 2000 rs, in that it a non-refundable seal has been put along with the owners signature.

But, since i havent used their services, nor have used that room, am i not eligible for getting the refund amount, atleast i can pay some penalty and the difference amount should be refunded i guess.

Please help me on what steps do i take here. I am very much worried now.
