Hi ,

I am living in Pune . On 19th January 2012 , I approched a property broker for renting a 2 bhk flat . He showed me one , I liked it and then I deposited 5000 rupees as advance , so that I can shift in flat from 1st february .

After 3 days that is on monday 23rd January 2012, I decided not to go for that flat , I called Property broker , informed him same and ask for money refund . But now he is not ready to return money and told me money once deposite can not be refund .

There is no where it is mention on receipt that money can not be refund , nither he told me orally while I was giving him token amount . Also when I ask him to give me owner's number he gave me a number after long time which is also coming switched off .

Please tell me is a broker correct from his side . Should I not seek for my refund ?
