NANI GOPAL CONSTRUCTION located at 309/20 S.H.K.B. Sarani, Jagadish Pally, Kolkata - 700074 is a construction bussiness owned by Mr. Ajay Saha.
He has the power of attorney of construct a multi-storied building named "Chowdhury Tower" on 484 S.H.K.B. Sarani on behalf of the owners of the land - the Chowdhury family.
On the ground floor of "Chowdhury Tower" he has made garages that are to be sold separately. The complainant Mr. Chatterjee, agreed to enter into an agreement with Nani Gopal Construction to buy a garage (8 by 15 feet) on the khal side (eastern side) on 28th April 2011 on the down payment of 2 lac rupees (@ Rs. 2500 per sq. ft.).
Since then, the complainant is being harrassed by Sri Ajay Saha and he is trying to sell a garage where the entrance is only 6 feet, it is not the same plot that was promised during the agreement and now he is threatening if the complainant does not take what is being offered then he will be given a common garage or else he will refund the money that he has blocked for so long. The complainant is a Police Officer. You can imagine if this person has the guts to try and dupe against a police official then how he must be duping the general public.
The complainant hopes to get the initial garage back.
